Midweek Burnout: Handling Stress and Tasks

in #hive-14008419 days ago

It's just Wednesday, and I feel like the week should have ended. This feeling is not new, nor often, as it only happens when I have gone through a lot of stress in just a short period of time.

This means that the energy I believe should be used for 7 days is already being utilized just 3 days into the week.

Nevertheless, I can't complain.

For one, it's for the greater good. Another is that I can't divide myself into two, although I wish I could, as it would've enabled me to tackle other activities that need my attention.

Presently, a whole lot of activities need my attention that I honestly feel overwhelmed with everything and feel like not doing anything at all. But that's just my mind playing tricks on me, or let's say he's trying to be a lazy ass, but I won't let it.

Even my freelancing skill acquisition program is already in peril due to this.

Nonetheless, beggars can't be choosers.

I am in a position where I can't choose what needs more attention and what doesn't.

Whenever responsibility comes, especially one that involves family, it's best to answer the call and either find a way to create your own schedule around the situation or just do your best and leave the rest to Almighty.

In life, we sometimes find ourselves in situations that leave us no choice but to follow through, even if it means leaving everything you were doing before on hold.

This illustrates exactly what I am going through right now, but I hope things get back to normal very soon and I can be able to follow through on other activities that need my attention.

With all that being said, have you been faced with a similar situation before? Share your thoughts below.
