This is my post for #freewriters 2474 prompt alien space craft crash hosted by @mariannewest
We were in this boat in the Atlantic ocean and made our last set of the day. A set is what we called when we ran our net over and let it set to catch fish. We were headed back to the inlet when we saw what looked like the morning sun to the east, but it was a couple of hours before dark and the sun sets in the west. This was before cell phones and I did not have a camera on the boat.
A huge huge ball of light stayed east of us. it was like it was moving at the same speed as we were. I asked my husband if he had ever seen anything like that and he said he hadn't. We had no idea what it was and still don't.
It stayed offshore of us for a couple of miles, I kept watching it and then it did something that I can not explain, it looked as if it turned and there were three big orange balls, next, they all three sped up and took off in a flash.
I know there has to be some logical explanation for this, but I do not know what it is. I told my dad about what I saw and he told me that back in the 1960's he saw something similar to this, he said he saw it over the ocean, too.
All of the above was true, but this part is not. I wonder if it was an alien space craft crash the crash part was when I saw three of them, it might have been one that exploded into three parts.
