The fact that you have a phone with data doesn’t mean you get to do whatever you want on the internet even though you can. I get that it’s your phone and data and you’re free to do whatever you want, but just don’t cross my path with your drama.
One thing I’m always glad for on the internet is the fact that there’s always a block , unfollow , delete or mute button. These days, I don’t even have time for peoples unnecessary drama and so any little drama and you’re getting deleted or blocked. I actually don’t have a problem with someone doing whatever they want online , I mean it’s a whole new world out there and everyone is allowed to explore. But, people of God, there should be a limit to everything because sometimes I don’t even understand the things people do on the internet. Today, I want to share a few of my digital pet peeves with you all and I know you’ll all agree with me on them.
Now, tell me why at your big age and with your level of education you still wake up from bed every morning, waste your money to buy data only to come online and type in short hand. Personally, once you text me in short hand whatever it may be, I wouldn’t even mind you cos you can’t make me waste my brain cells on your bad grammar. The worst part of this is that some people even go to the extent of sending emails in short hand. Like how? Let’s grow up, please.
As if typing in short hand wasn’t enough. Guys, let’s talk about how you will be on an online call with someone let’s say on zoom or google meet discussing important stuff only for them to also be talking behind the call with others like a rat. Yes, like a rat because it’s only rats who do that. Can’t you at least mute yourself? I feel it’s a lot better to tell the other person to excuse you or hold on for a second instead of you just talking here and there and causing confusion everywhere.
I believe I can go on and on about so many pet peeves of mine on the digital space because people are bored and would do anything in the name of fun online. To conclude, let me touch on how some people are so desperate for attention online . I mean bro, aren’t you loved at home or what? Because the rate at which people do stuff online just for attention is really really something I can’t seem to wrap my head around. Honestly, the way some people are so desperate for attention on the internet is disgusting. The desperation is disgusting and I will keep on saying it over and over again!
I know some people will feel the sting after reading this but guess what, someone had to say it out loud to bring you back to your senses. You see how I’m stating all these pet peeves of mine, very cutesy , very demure. Now, watch , learn and change your ways. T for Thanks.
