Every individuals have different tastes and choices. Their preferences depends upon many things. Be it food, music, clothing etc. People prefer to change the choices as per their mood, season, or culture. The same goes with every music lovers. Their tastes for music keeps on changing every hour. Especially when it relates to modern music. I remember my youth days, when I prefer to listen to some romantic hindi songs, then I switched listening to English songs and then to Punjabi songs. The preferences keeps on changing and now I am more comfortable with soft musics especially with old classical hindi musics. We have reason to love them for different reasons.

Old music makes us feel something faster and oftentimes deeper than so much of today's music. Today's modern music were of no meaning while one can easily relate their life with old musics. People may like old music for a variety of reasons, including:

Nostalgia : Music can transport listeners to past times and places, and evoke emotions that are otherwise inaccessible. When people listen to music associated with happy memories, their brain's reward system releases dopamine, creating a sense of joy and nostalgia. This can be especially true for music from people's youth, which may be linked to positive memories from that time.

Connection to heritage : Listening to the music of ancestors can help people feel closer to them and their culture, especially if they're from a different country.

Sense of simpler times : Old music can remind people of a time when things were simpler and life was less hectic.

Shared identity : Certain songs or genres can evoke a sense of nostalgia for an entire generation, fostering a shared identity and unity. For example, the music of the 1980s may continue to resonate with audiences decades later, inspiring a new wave of artists.

Music preferences are strongly associated with personality, age, and status in life. As a result, our taste in music changes over time. I am not sure how many loves the Hindi songs, but here is a Playlist saved on my #youtube

Westlife! I've known them since in my teenage days. Their tracks usually inspire the soul.
Sounds have serious effects on our lives that is why we must sensor what we listen to.
