Blessed Sunday @asean.hive last week was a very busy weekday, until hubby came and helped me with the house chores. Sometimes I wished that he would never leave. But his work place is far and he needs to work hard for our family.
Today's post is about our daughter @katsuki29 that finally reached her legal age. I remember when I was young, I was excited to grow and become an adult. Especially when I see my mom fixing her self, I admire the way she dresses and prepares herself for office. She's always presentable even just going to the market and the nearby. I adopted that after I fully grew into a woman. I can't deny that I'm proud of myself when I'm looking in the mirror. I'm just doing that to make people think of me well.
But while my kids are growing they realize something. It's not easy knowing the details of life. It's more likely to become a young one rather than to meet all the stress in life. When we talk like friends, they said they missed playing like all day long. But my daughter seems to have a different plan in life. After the scholarship was granted she's study harder, she wanted to the best and make us proud. I worry about her health because her hours of sleep is lessening. So I told her were not expecting a big achievement from her. We know she's trying hard and we're proud of them.
Last week was her 18th birthday, in my previous post I already told that her father bought her a second hand laptop. And she already consider it as her 18th birthday gift. Not all teenagers will be good as that. The money was really meant for our house but their teacher already asked who among them have a laptop? She didn't expect that she'll be the only one to raise her hand.
I'm really planning a surprise for her birthday. First I messaged her closes friends. I told them to make a video for Katsuki, just tell her a short message and a birthday greetings. I'm also looking for a good editor because I want to add some photos of us. I planned it 20 days before her birthday, but her classmates seems to be very busy they wasn't able to submit in our GC. Yes I made Group Chat, luckily her cousin that lives far made a video for her. And she was shocked, surprised and happy. At the end I told her about my surprise but her classmates wasn't able to cooperate. But she's happy while I'm telling her the stuff. I know that my idea will give her a teary eye and it will be more precious to her. Her friends have s special place on her heart.
She really understand our situation and didn't asked anything about it. All she wants is to learn, finished her studies and helped us. My in-laws prepare a simple celebration for Katsuki. They love my kids and I'm thankful that God gave us these people. While my kids are growing my message for them are becoming more short. Because I can see that they already know the difference of now and before. But we'll do our best for them. And we love them so much 💝
