TikTok – or should it be referred to as TikToxic???? Yes, it’s catchy, but at the moment, it’s a sad reality. This social media platform that took the world by storm – especially during lockdown – has become a foetid and toxic environment.
And it’s dragged Ben and I down for far too long now...Changes must be made!
So we sat down earlier this week in order to have and in depth and frank discussion about where to go with this, and suddenly the answer became clear. Here. Here is where we go.
Hive has always been our go-to platform for positivity, high vibrational, energetic discourse and sharing – which is why we share our adventures here – thank you, fellow Hiveans (and PeakDians, Leonians, and everyone else we can think of) so why not expand on this a little more, and at the same time, shake off the negativity that (Ben especially) has been growing whilst engaging on TikTok. To be fair, I gave up a while ago, as I couldn’t cope with it anymore. Ben had more sticking power, lol! 🤣
But even he has his limits, and to be fair, a breaking point – which has been well and truly tested over the past week. So we both agreed that enough was enough. So what was the straw that broke the camels back, you ask? Well, it was a post about a new Ford eTransit, which we fully charged at the low, low price of £4.50, giving us a range of between 169 and 209 miles (depending on the weather).
What’s not to love? We posted it as an update regarding our latest review vehicle, and the amount of vitriol was saddening. At the last look, there were sixty six negative comments and counting.
So we asked ourselves why didn’t we just increase the amount of posts we put out here instead of there…
As this has always been such an inclusive platform, it really was a no brainer. So we’ve started increasing our posts about the whacky world of all things automotive, and so we have begun.
Hopefully we will entertain and amuse you with our added content, and hope to chat with you all some more as the days and weeks progress. Is there anything you would like us to talk about? Maybe you would like to share your experiences with TikTok Or maybe not...🤢)
In regards to Hive, we’ve bought some more Hive with our HBD and we’ve powered up to increase our vote, and delegate. It now looks like we are in a Bull Market – leaving the Bear behind for – hopefully – quite a while (see what we did there…tee hee)
P.S. Does anyone know if the 3Speak Apple App actually works? Answers on a postcard… We’ve been trying to get it to work, but no luck at present. We’re looking to upload some video content this way, as well as sharing our YouTube Reviews that we know you all love.
