Last Night There Was Another Boxing Farce That Was Only Pay Per View.

If you are stuck and want to watch a certain sport never forget Twitter (X) as there are streams covering all sports widely available. Just use a correct tag and you will find whatever it is you would like to watch.

Last night or should I say the early hours of the morning depending where you live in the world Tyson Fury fought against Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavy weight boxing title. Let us just say Fury looked to be carrying a bit too much weight to be a serious contender and there was only one athlete in the ring.

I never paid too watch the fight and never even knew it was on until about an hour before the event started. Like I have done in the past I turned to Twitter (X) to see if I could find a feed and there were a few available. This fight was not the kind of fight anyone should be paying for and the promoters should be paying you.

One of the commentators referred to Fury as a Christmas pudding and another suggested he spent too much time in the kitchen. What was glaringly obvious was the difference in size ad the longer the fight went on there was only going to be one winner. Up till the 5th round there was not much in it and from the 6th round on it was all Usyk. You have to even wonder if Fury even bothered to train for this fight and was in the worst shape of his career.

Tale Of The Tape

If we compare the weights Fury was weighing in at 281lb/127.4kg vs Usyk 226lb/102.5kg which is a full 25 kg' difference. Fury had the weight and reach advantage so if you did not know any better you would put money on Fury to win. This is where the bookies make money because any true fight fan that knows the sport would not even be tuning into this garbage.

he funny part that I read abut Fury's training regime is that he took it very seriously and that he never spoke to his wife for 3 months. Sounds like he had a proper holiday away from home. The good news is Usyk had a clause in his contract that if he lost he would fight Fury again and now that he has won both fights he can now move on.

Pay per view boxing was meant to be for the special fights that everyone wanted to see and what I have noticed there has been complete rubbish for over a decade now with fighters who never deserved to be in the spot light. Anthony Joshua was hyped up as the good guy except they forgot to tell everyone that he had a glass jaw and could not take a punch. He was protected because he was marketable and not because he could fight. The fact that he was the heavy weight champion of the world at one point highlights how weak the sport really is and is begging for someone to step up and demolish these so called pretenders.

I feel a little sorry for Uysk as there is literally no one for him to fight and he has had to fight Fury twice due to having this stipulated by Fury in his fight contract.

Yes I presume so if you know what teams are playing and use the right tags. I watch Premier League football and have never looked for NFL, but would say definitely it will be available.
