Well, I must say, that this week came around moon lightning fast!
When I picked the theme it was actually full Moon!
Once my video is posted, I will sit back and enjoy all the other entries, that are already coming in to a theme, that I had the honour of choosing!
Swing 42 and this Song
You may already know that I am part of "Swing 42", with @steevc and myself on guitar, @purplesinger on piano and @daniellemurray on clarinet.
This song forms part of our set, which I sing, and as I am learning the keyboard I just couldn't resist the temptation to form my own little swing combo with me playing my Gretsch guitar, which I acquired specifically for the band.
Little did I know that I would struggle to play along to piano student Anke! 😂
I meant to sing straight into the mic while playing along to a song I should know so well, but I had to concentrate so much, as Anke, the pianist wasn't very stable on the speed side of things.
So instead I added another voice later on to the recording and adjusted volume levels where desperately required..
However, I had a lot of fun putting this together and hope, you enjoy it!
