Hello beautiful Hive music community! We are in week 95 of the event that brings together the global community for harmony and world peace through live music: the Hive Openmic.

Thanks to @hiveopenmic, @cabelindsay for bring us this cool initiative that join musicians from all the world every week and @ocd for the support to this beautiful community.

The theme chosen for this week is "New Times" and what better than the song Aquarius to represent the new time we are living in.

For those who are not familiar with astrology we recently entered the Aquarius era, previously we were in the Pisces era, which came with an energy and a movement in the collective unconscious.

The song Aquarius describes some of the values that will be presented in this new era:

Para aquellos que desconozcan la astrología hace poco entramos en la era de Acuario, anteriormente nos encontrábamos en la era de Piscis, la cual venía con una energía y un movimiento en el inconsciente colectivo.

Fun! Great to hear you singing. It is excellent timing to bring this song. It aligns perfectly with this week's Hive Open Mic theme: "New Times," and of course it feels nicely-timed with the Age of Aquarius, which appears to be making its grand entrance. I like the flavor of your version's instrumentation too. I remember dancing to this song in the sunshine a year ago and recognizing what a special, sacred, mystical message it holds.

Yes, it's a great piece, I imagine the scene you describe dancing to it, surely you also heard the song In the Sunshine that comes as a medley with this hehe. This cover in particular is the version of the movie Hair, it's like more moved, more danceable 😁. Thanks for the visit 🙏😊

Oh gotcha! Yeah, I heard that the song originated from the musical Hair, and The 5th Dimension band adopted it and made it their own. I haven't seen the musical yet, or the movie, but I've seen footage of The 5th Dimension playing the song. And I danced like a sunflower to the song on that one day - December 2020.
