I loved the theme for this week but I couldn't find a song I wanted to sing, so I decided to write my own instead. It's been a couple of years since I wrote any songs, so I hope you like it.
I think this song could be viewed in many ways. If you are religious it could be a song about the love and hope you feel from your God and the beauty of the world we inhabit. If you are not religious, it could simply be a song about feeling hope and love from the happy memories you have of person who has passed away. It could even be about someone you love and miss, who lives far away.
For me it is a song about feeling loved and happy. The wonderful people I have in my life, always give me hope for the future. With this song I am also remembering those I love, who have now passed away. My dear friend Glenn who was also friends with some of my fellow Hivers, my lovely friend Andrew who was a founder of my choirs and my wonderful Grandparents, who showed me so much love whilst they were alive. I like to think that they are all still with me in the things I see and hear and the deeds that I do. I do feel their presence in the places I go, especially if I have memories of them being there with me. I believe that love never dies. We carry it with us forever.
