Greetings to everyone in this beautiful global community. I am happy to participate in the Hive Open Mic Week #210 where we explore the theme: "Reborn of Fire" chosen by our dear friend and recent featured artist in our community: @ljfenix. It is a pleasure for me to share with you my interpretation with the trumpet of "Set Fire to the Rain", a song that mixes genres such as Soul and Pop composed by Adele Adkins and Fraser T. Smith. This piece of music is in the key of D minor, while the tempo is slow and constant. I love the use of the piano, you can feel an intimate and vulnerable atmosphere. The lyrics talk about the fight against pain and sadness. References to fire and rain contrast between passion and destruction. It covers aspects such as heartbreak, betrayal and the search for inner strength. I love Adele, her lyrics are a reflection of everyday life, and what human beings feel when they go through difficult times, especially when it comes to love and heartbreak.

Reborn of Fire reminds me of a legend from Greek mythology like that of the phoenix, a bird of great beauty and longevity. He was said to live for five hundred years, at the end of which he would build a nest of frankincense and myrrh and burn himself in it. From the ashes a new phoenix emerged, young and strong. I believe that human beings have the ability to be reborn from our ashes. We all have the ability to change and renew ourselves. Some situations in our lives consume us and take us to the extreme; However, we can emerge triumphant and become stronger and wiser. Being reborn from fire is a means to an end, it is being resilient in the face of life's challenges and trusting that better things will come in the future. It's never too late to start over and pursue our dreams. Don't give up, keep going, there is always a horizon of hope and gratitude. Don't forget to recognize where you come from and where you are going.

Set Fire to the Rain
I let it fall, my heart
And as it fell, you rose to claim it
It was dark, and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they were strong
But my knees were far too weak
To stand in your arms
Without falling to your feet
But there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true
And the games you'd play
You would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screamin' out your name
Your name
When I lay with you
I could stay there, close my eyes
Feel you here forever
You and me together, nothing is better
'Cause there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true
And the games you'd play
You would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screamin' out your name
Your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When we fell, somethin' died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time
The last time
Sometimes, I wake up by the door
That heart you caught must be waitin' for you
Even now, when we're already over
I can't help myself from lookin' for you
I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screamin' out your name
Your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When we fell, somethin' died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time
The last time
Oh
Oh, no
Let it burn
Oh
Let it burn
Let it burn
