Stepping out today wasn't in the schedule, my mind was shower, stay indoors and sleep of wish i was in it already. Not until i had a call and it happened to be an old time friend. He said " Chi, it's been years i last saw you, can you come out for lunch?" The thought of leaving was running through my mind and he went ahead to say "i will be waiting at 171 faulks road." I smile the smile didn't come as a result of having lunch but because the address sounds familiar, yes that's the location La Fresh restaurant is located. Am not just going to have lunch but also spending my hbd through @distriator and getting my discount. I had to call him back and tell him to wait for my arrival before making order since i have a better option of making payment.
As a gentleman who isn't supposed to keep a lady waiting, he was seated before my arrival. We had to exchange pleasantries since it's been long and then our chat of how life have been treating each other started that we forgot lunch. After the some minutes in the middle of our discussion he asked the better means of payment i told him over the phone, the our discussion changed dimension to @hive, @spendhbd and @distriator. He said i will show him while making payment for our order, so we made our orders.
He said i know you to well, please if you start taking pictures do not capture, i pleaded but he refused, it's not my fault that web3 has turned me to a photographer that i wasn't and am enjoying, no regrets though.
I had to enjoy my food with or without him taking the pictures. It's been a while a friend called me out like this. So the least i could do since I don't know when i will be seeing him again is to spend quality time and chat my boredom away.
I didn't just appreciated my friend for calling me out and having lunch, i appreciate the restaurant for always making a good meal for the customers to enjoy.
