Water is life and we are thankful for every drop that we get.
South Africa is one of the water scarce countries and we have droughts in some areas of the country.
So you can understand that we are very appreciative of the rains that we get during our winter seasons here at the southern tip of the African continent. A solution was found in the drought stricken areas by the sinking of boreholes as apparently there are large lakes of water underground. But this cannot be a permanent solution as sooner or later the underground lakes will empty and then one can only imagine what will happen.
But I talk too much so come and look at the beauty.
This below is a pine cone in a pool of water.
Finally late afternoon and the rain clouds have disappeared.
I see beauty in most parts of life where others only see things to complain about. Yes, I do get wet occasionally, but it's not the end of the world, as my camera shots are more important. And even at the wet times I get lovely shots.
In suffering there is also beauty as a happy smile from a little child that was given some food is most beautiful to me. Not even to talk about happy tears and we see this often during our work at Papillon,
So yes, it all depends at what one looks at, or for in life.
A blessed day to all that read this!
And That's All Friends!
