Thoughtful Daily Post Curation Compilation #17

in #hive-109288last month

By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.

No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

Mi Diario: 11 agosto 2024 // My Diary: August 11 2024 by @palomap3

Hola, querido hiver. O estaba feliz o me deprimía

Weeds! by @owasco

Whenever I show my garden to a new person, I say, before they have seen a thing, “I love weeds”. Some of them think I am kidding, but they soon realize that I am not. When I was living in a small hillbilly town in upstate NY as a child, I spent a lot of time out wandering in the woods near my home, and once upon a time came across an old abandoned garden. This garden was contained by tall hedges forming a large rectangle, and was full of once tended then derelict cultivated flowers, along with a whole lot of gorgeous weeds. I would go there and look for the fairies or spirits who were tending it

My first steps in love and its nuances || Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #7 [ENG-ESP] by @marilour

My first steps in love and its nuances Some time ago, I shared a publication on love, as a contemplation of one of the most precious gifts that life gives us, that magnanimous present in its expression, complex and controversial in its dissertation, because it is so confusing and imprecise, and at the same time paradoxical, officious and complacent, adapting to malleability, allowing each one of us to specify it and give it usability and value in our way. I do not intend to go through contextualization, because it would be a rough, limitless, and perpetual journey, what I can refer to is its multidimensionality in its representativeness, kaleidoscopic in its applicability. And although it may sound wrong, love in its genesis is neutral, it is our actions and chores that determine its course and orientation, with an inclination to the good and the not so good, that will be my challenge to justify in the following lines. From our first contact with this existence, regardless of the conditions or reasons for our arrival, love is the first energy that flows throughout our being, escorts with emotion our inaugural breath of air, it is the intention of well being, as the most intimate and precious essence that will nourish and accompany us throughout our existence. I came to this life with a lot of love, I am the firstborn of a couple that converge

When loving too much hurts badly by @ibbtammy

One thing about loving a person is that you sometimes cannot tell when you are doing too much neither can you tell when you're doing too little, as all you can think of in your head is their well being and nothing else. The concept of “tough love” inspires many opinions. Do you feel that this approach to helping people along is helpful or hurtful? Have you experienced dishing it out and/or receiving it?

Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #7 /Tough Love/[Eng/Esp] by @mercmarg

The concept of "tough love" inspires many opinions. Do you think that this way of helping people is useful or harmful? Have you had the experience of giving it away and/or receiving it? Talking about love in these times is extremely important, because the concept of love has evolved from my perception. Remember the love of parents, as a child when they educated us, their love was not demonstrated with gestures, hugs, sweet words when they addressed us, of course they loved us, I understand that since many years ago, accepting that they had their history and their beliefs on how to educate us, maybe they thought that if they spoke nicely to us they would stop respecting them

Simplicity! My Personal Style! by @tranquil3

Which fads did you embrace growing up? My answer: These were days of simpler life with no social media but majorly spending time playing outdoors, table games, hanging out with family and friends and having lots of fun. These were days when we males were only allowed to wear denim pants, not these ripped and distressed types that guys wear these days (You really would be mad to wear that in our home), but real denims with T shirts or Polo and converse sneakers. Then the girls would not dare wear any dress that would expose their thighs or cleavages. We just had to dress decently

Tough Love and Tender Lessons by @olujay

She is a disciplinarian. Although she is mostly softer nowadays, she still doesn't tolerate nonsense. And she displayed that yet again to my niece and nephew. Such a heated moment for those two, and I felt for them. Having her as a mother, I surely knew how they were feeling in that moment

The LIES Within by @mrnightmare89

The world is noisy for sure. Sometimes we do not know where to go. No matter how hard we covered our ears not to listen to those noises. It’s easy to tell that the surroundings are very disturbing. Arguing

Tough love/ discipline my opinion. by @ijebest

Life is good if it's well lived. No one is an island, we need our selves at every juncture in life. The Question goes; " The concep of " tough love" inspires many opinions. Do you feel that this approach to helping people along is helpful or hurtful?

Tough Love—Balancing Discipline And Respect by @phyna

Love is a profound feeling of affection we hold for someone. When we love someone, we tend to go all out for their well being, feel hurt when they are hurt, and feel happy when they are happy. There are various ways to express this feeling of love; some people tend to be tough in their expression, while others tend to be soft. From what I've observed, it all boils down to the person's personality. I grew up in a family where I experienced both sides
