By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️
Copper and Penny Fritz by @snook
It started raining while I was trying to sleep in the small bed. Water slashed across the panes of glass, making it sound like a crystal symphony had begun. I was almost lulled to sleep when I noticed my Mother walking blindly down the corridor, mumbling to herself that I must have left. Still speaking out loud, she told the walls that water had started pouring into her place, and she had best call someone to fix it. I struggled to unwind from the sheets

Hola querido hiver.
Scared of and for our future children by @honeydue
Dropping fertility rates have been an area of interest for me lately, both on a private level and and more broadly on a psychological/societal one. It's an issue that a few years previous I blamed on an increasingly hedonistic culture, and yet, the more information I gather on the subject, the more complex an issue it becomes. We tend to think of it as an issue of our times, and yet, as one points out, this drop in fertility can be traced back to at least 100 150 years ago, all the way back to the Industrial Revolution, and even before, to the French Revolution. Yes, fertility rates are going lower and lower as we move along, but it started long before the TikTok generation, and the yass queen generation, and all these other modern trends telling women what a bust it is to have a family. The article also offers an interesting reason as to why this might be the case
Winter Is Here, Fire Is Near by @trucklife-family
I returned to my truck yesterday evening, just as the temperature dropped. The nights had been fairly mild still, up until last night and me and my girls got a bit of a shock to be honest. As I hadn't been there the last few nights, I wasn't really prepared. The winter blankets were still packed away in my daughters caravan, as well as the curtain, for the door. When we got back home, we ate, a simple yet tasty dinner of mushroom pasta and then I was ready for bed
Adventures In Homesteading (Day 192) by @jacobpeacock
Hello Everyone! Some off timing, Surprise rain, Damp weather, Slippery terrain & Cramped but cozy! Alright, I am running behind schedule with my writing routine again... but at least I am here at last to spell out my ponderous (and not so ponderous) thoughts. This evening in particular, I could have stuck to my preferred timing
A Crypto Advent Calendar? Why Not? by @jayna
I was surprised to see 23 Hive freshly delivered to my wallet by my friend @elizabethbit. I'm glad I was paying attention! (I case it's not obvious, this is not always the case. ) I went to her blog intending to find a post I could comment on and thank her for the Hive, and that's when I saw about the HiveAdvent initiative started by @bozz.
The Joy That Comes With Christmas by @soniadee
What does Christmas mean to you? How do you perceive the Christmas holiday? I will revisit this question once I have shared my perspective on what the Christmas holiday represents to me. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. Some individuals might argue that it simply means to commemorate the birth of Christ

ISKCON Temple: A place of bliss and devotion by @mulik369
Hello friends, This weekend I got a chance to visit Pandharpur, a devotional city located in the Solapur district of Maharashtra. Friends, this city is very famous for devotion in Maharashtra. The ancient temple of Shri Vitthal Bhagwan is famous here. I went there with my family; after having darshan of Shri Vitthal Bhagwan in the temple, we left for home from there. Seeing the board of ISKCON Temple on the side of the road at a little distance from the temple, we turned the car towards it, and we went inside from the gate

What is holding your soul captive? Your past, the mysterious voice from within or a person who belittled your dreams and vision? Your worth isn't measured by the validation of others. In you lies the power to rewrite your story no matter how uninteresting it has been from the outset. What though could your story revolve around?
That’s a wrap for this week! Thank you for checking out our curation compilation of thoughtful posts from the community. Want to help elevate the awesome on chain?
