WaZoBia!
Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves.
Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.
Last Edition's Winners:
What a blast this week! We had 27 of you share beautiful memories and heartfelt response with us! We appreciate every participant for taking giant strides to expand their minds with the last edition's prompts. Many were as beautiful as they came. And there are a few that we want to showcase for their exceptional entries and level of engagement in the community.
First Place
You should have spoken up
by @bhetea01
There was no point being scared, you should have spoken up. You should have said the truth instead of just sitting there crying. You could have done better. You should have done more. If only you spoke up that day, if only you said the truth, things would have been more different. There was no point being quiet claiming victim. You should have been more confident. There was no point being emotional. You should have handled things better.
Second Place
by @oluwa-tosin
Trust in You by Lauren Daigle is a beautiful song that talks about having faith in God, especially when life doesn't go the way we want. Also, it's about learning to trust God even when He doesn't answer our prayers the way we expect.
Third Place
by @eliany
One thing about humans especially when we are at our lowest or at our moment when things aren't going the way we planned, we tend to get overly anxious and worried and also begin to question everything and even ourselves. We even unconsciously get to the stage where we begin to doubt ourselves and downplay our hard work so far which unconsciously makes us lose our self-esteem.
Congratulations to these talented individuals for their outstanding contributions. Now, we would like mention a few other entries that we deem exceptional.
This Week's Prompts:
📝 Kids are also part of the family, and we have seen parents who don't hide their struggles from their kids, while others do the opposite. Which is right, and why? At what age should parents expose their children to the family struggle?
📝 What's the most appreciated Christmas gift you have given to someone? Take us through the recipient reaction and how it made you feel.
Guidelines:
- Pick a prompt, craft a masterpiece, and be unique with your title.
- Ensure your entry is at least 500 words
- Use copyright-free images and properly source them; indicate if they belong to you.
