Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves.
Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.
Last Edition's Winners:
What a blast this week! We had 24 of you share beautiful memories and heartfelt response with us! We appreciate every participant for taking giant strides to expand their minds with the last edition's prompts. Many were as beautiful as they came. And there are a few that we want to showcase for their exceptional entries and level of engagement in the community.
First Place

I celebrated Christmas with my nuclear family, and it was fun, I must say. The food was delicious; I guess jollof rice and fried rice are the major foods for the season. We weren't left out in the culture of the food. Mom prepared fried rice with turkey which I enjoyed. Not only that, my mom prepared grilled fish with plantain. It's all food for me for Christmas; I ate several other snacks like cake, which I baked a day before Christmas.
Second Place

Christmas celebration in my family is always an example of a typical Naija family Christmas. 2024 Christmas celebration wasn't an exception, the only difference was that rather than spending the holiday in my family house in Port Harcourt, I traveled to a new city (Lagos State) where I spent the Christmas with my sisters and it was fun as usual.
Third Place
by @vickoly
At the end of the calls, texting, chatting, and video calls, I went to sleep and hoped to travel down to visit my relatives in Ijebu Ode to celebrate the festive season with them, because I know if I don't travel, then it's going to be a boring first day of the year for me because I'll literally be alone at my place if I decide not to travel, so that was the plan, but it never materialized at the end of the day.
Congratulations to these talented individuals for their outstanding contributions. Now, we would like mention a few other entries that we deem exceptional.
