Hello everyone, today I want to share another experience. This is my experience climbing Mount Tambora. Mount Tambora is one of the volcanoes with an altitude of about 2,851 MDPL, this mountain is located on Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Mount Tambora is located in two regencies, namely Dompu Regency which covers the western and southern slopes and Bima Regency which covers the eastern and northern slopes.
At that time I did a backpacker trip to Bima from Makassar, my goal here was to climb Mount Tambora.
As for the transportation we use, we use a road car, but if we don't have a car we travel on foot.
Our journey arrived in front of the main gate of Mount Tambora, this was a very pleasant thing for me.
Mount Tambora is one of the mountains included in my expedition list. we went on an expedition trip with a total of seven people.
But what I really like about this climbing expedition is where my climbing friends have expertise in their respective fields.
so that makes me not afraid to go on an expedition to the mountain.
On the way I found something really amazing, here I was bitten by a pacet. For climbers, you must be familiar with the pacet on Mount Tambora, especially climbing during the rainy season. Because in addition to the dense forest, Mount Tambora also has moist soil contours, so we find many pacets here. Here are some photos about our expedition in Mount Tambora
Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope this post is useful for all of you. See you again in the next post.
