Today I had the opportunity to visit the Raju reservoir, the Rajui reservoir is located in the Mesjid Rajui Village, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency, Aceh. This reservoir is located between the slopes of the hill with a stretch of greenery. The reservoir, which is located not far from the Banda Aceh - Medan National Road, is visited by many local people to just enjoy the natural scenery, some spend their time fishing in the reservoir.
This reservoir was built to irrigate a rice field area of approximately 1,000 ha with the water source coming from the Rajui River, Padang Tiji. The construction of the Rajui reservoir costs Rp. 99,204,693,000,- with a three-stage or three-year development pattern.
