Too dangerous to swim, but a plan had to be made for some fun.
Tentavely she reached out to touch the wave that smashed into the barrier.
Boring at home, especially if one likes the water so they made a plan.
We were down at the ocean for me to try to get some sunset shots, but the weather was overcast the whole day. Yet, some like these ladies - and us - were not worried about the conditions.
I did get some nice pre-sunset shots before the clouds swallowed the sun and I will show that in another post.
But for now, come and watch the fun.
I knew that a bigger wave would arrive unexpectedly and waited for it :)
The waves continued to bang into the embankment, and I was patiently waiting for something bigger to come along.
Bingo! A big one came and it was wetness all over:)
This brave guy stepped on to the sand with his dog, he obviously did not know that the waves smash into the embankment.
So, they both saw a huge wave coming their way at speed, and they left in a serious hurry:)
Just some fun on this sublime Sunday and it is amazing what we get up to as people. Some people wore heavy jackets and scarves, others were surfing, and yet others were taking strolls along the promenade in shorts and T-shirts. This is just the way we are, and I always look for a smile when we are out there. Sadly, Marian couldn't practice her hobby of collecting strange things on the beach, but she didn't mind standing with me for a change. Tomorrow, we don't know what is going to happen with the power cuts, but tomorrow will sort its own problems out, as we live for today.
Hope you have enjoyed the fun and the pictures.
And That's All Friends.
