Hive Music Festival - Week N°31- Round 1. Bass Cover of Marvin Gaye [ENG-ESP].

Hello Hivians, trust everyone in the community is doing well. Feels so good that the hive music festival has already run to week 31. Really thank everyone who started this competition from day one and still stuck around till the current week. I respect and appreciate their efforts and commitment.

Hola Hivians, confía en que todos en la comunidad lo están haciendo bien. Se siente tan bien que el festival de música de colmena ya haya llegado a la semana 31. Realmente agradezco a todos los que comenzaron esta competencia desde el primer día y aún se quedaron hasta la semana actual. Respeto y aprecio su esfuerzo y compromiso.

Earlier this week, Tuesday to be precise, I woke up to the sound of Charlie Puth's songs from the radio station. His style of music feels so special and I couldn't help but head on to Boomplay and download his album. I kept playing the song over and over again and I didn't feel bored listening to the songs. He speaks some reality in his songs and that made me fall more in love with his music. I opted to do a bass cover of most or all of his songs but I got so engaged this week. I decided to score the songs this weekend but I still didn't have a chance to touch my bass. Even though I know for sure that some of the songs have some technicalities, I will sit my ass down and make the best of my time with the songs.

A principios de esta semana, el martes para ser precisos, me desperté con el sonido de las canciones de Charlie Puth en la estación de radio. Su estilo de música se siente tan especial y no pude evitar ir a Boomplay y descargar su álbum. Seguí tocando la canción una y otra vez y no me aburrí escuchando las canciones. Habla algo de realidad en sus canciones y eso hizo que me enamorara más de su música. Opté por hacer una versión de bajo de la mayoría o de todas sus canciones, pero me comprometí mucho esta semana. Decidí componer las canciones este fin de semana pero todavía no tuve la oportunidad de tocar mi bajo. Aunque estoy seguro de que algunas de las canciones tienen algunos tecnicismos, me sentaré y aprovecharé al máximo mi tiempo con las canciones.

I Did a lil research about Charlie and I learnt he started dedicating his time for music at a very tender age of about 4 years. He started learning how to play the piano back then. Was also wondering how he's always able to flow very professionally in jazz music. I learnt from my research that he majored in jazz piano while in music school. I'm sure if I can dedicate some time and score one of his albums, it will give me more insight into jazz music and will augment my music morale.

Investigué un poco sobre Charlie y supe que comenzó a dedicar su tiempo a la música a una edad muy tierna de unos 4 años. Empezó a aprender a tocar el piano en ese entonces. También me preguntaba cómo siempre es capaz de fluir muy profesionalmente en la música de jazz. Aprendí de mi investigación que se especializó en piano de jazz mientras estaba en la escuela de música. Estoy seguro de que si puedo dedicar algo de tiempo y componer uno de sus álbumes, me dará más información sobre la música jazz y aumentará mi moral musical.

For this week's contest, I chose a song by Charlie titled Marvin Gaye. There are exceptional feelings that song gave me. Both the vocals and the instrumentals, they're just mind-blowing. So please make use of headphones and listen for clarity of the bass. Thank you.
