Yep! On my #vacation at my husband's side, there was a lot of #cooking and we truly enjoyed #eating #fresh vegetables and fresh meat. We hardly ate anything that came out of the fridge. Everything was fresh!
Here's a video of our cooking session. I hope you will like it and if you all have any questions, please feel free to mention your questions in the comment portion of this post.
I got proof that it was healthier #living back #home in the province. Because, we ate the same amount of food, plus lots of rice every day and I never gained weight. When we left from Abu Dhabi, I was 77 kilos and when I got back after a few weeks, I was only 76 kilos. Truly amazing!!!
Here's a picture of Kuya Jon (wearing a red shirt) hanging out with us.
I love this picture. From left to right, my brother-in-law 'Jon', our nephew 'Darren', my father-in-law 'Tatay Renato', my husband, and my sister-in-law 'Allain'. This was taken on the same day we flew back to Abu Dhabi.
So the dish we were cooking in the video is the famous "Monggo" with your preferred vegetables and meat. Here are our ingredients:
#Ingredients are arranged according to which goes in to the cooking pan.
Garlic | Onions | Tomatoes | Shrimp Paste | Pork Pata | Monggo Seeds | Hot Water (1 cup) | Leafy Veggies (Chilli Leaves and Alugbati or you can use Spinach) | Bitter Gourd | Pinch of Salt
I truly enjoyed taking this video as it was my first time #vlogging. We are so excited to do more and introduce more yummy #Filipino Dishes.
Thank you for being here. Hope you enjoyed too.
Love lots,
