The Juiciest Way to Cook Hotdogs

Hi, this is Mhel a full-time mommy, wife, vlogger, and a ray of sunshine. Most of the time husband Ryan creates all our content here at hive. From the photos to writing all the details in the post. The same goes for our YT channel where he does all the shooting and editing of the videos. In short, he is my slave to love 😂. But when when it comes to the video I am the star of the show 😁.

Today we would like to share with you how to make your hotdogs super juicy and delicious. We will be featuring today the most popular hotdog brand here in the Philippines.

You can watch the full video below if you like but it is in our local language. Still, the process is straightforward easy to understand.

Almost everyone loves hotdogs as it is very easy to prepare for a quick snack. Even my kids love to eat hotdogs for breakfast paired with fried rice and egg.

We bought one kilo of Pure Foods tender juicy hotdogs for 165 pesos or $3.22 USD. We never buy any other brand as a mommy this is the best brand for us. Just a disclaimer this is a non-sponsored post from the brand though we would love to have a sponsorship for our channel😅.

From my experience of trying different brands of hotdogs since I was young, this is the one that I truly loved. Although it should be eaten in moderation as it is not exactly healthy food.

Hotdogs here have a plastic film and should be removed first before cooking. I often wonder if there is also a plastic casing on hotdogs from other countries. Well, I would love to know in the comments please let me know.

It is very easy to remove. Just tear it off from the ends and it can then be easily be removed from the hotdog. I will be cooking half a kilo as a snack for the kids and my hubby.

Usually, hotdogs are just fried on a skillet for a few minutes and they are done. But if you want your hotdogs to be very juicy and remain plump, we just have one extra step to do. We boil them first with two cups of water.

7.jpg

Wait until you notice that the hotdogs have absorbed the water. You would also notice that some of the color from the hotdog is removed from the boiling.

Once that is done just discard the water and set aside the hotdogs first.

Still, we will need to fry the hotdogs real quick after boiling them.

Once that is done you will notice that the hotdogs are still plump unlike when just frying them. The moment you take a bite you will experience that extra juiciness of the hotdogs. Perfect on a hotdog bun or some fried rice.

If you try our process I promise you that you will never cook hotdogs the same way ever again.

If you watched and finished our video, at the end of the video we always add HIVE BLOG and a link to Hive in the descriptions. A good way to attract people to the community and we are also planning to create a video about Hive one of these days.

Thank you for joining us today and have a great week ahead. Happy eating!
