Johnny Depp has been such a prolific actor and has been in some amazing movies. No one really brought up his role in Pirates of the Caribbean which I thought was an obvious choice (maybe too obvious!). Favorite Super-Natural Movie
I'm not sure why I like to hyphenate the word, super-natural but I just do. Not only does it fit better on my photo, it also seems like the right thing to do with two different words being jammed together to create a new meaning. Oh well, I won't get too deep in the woods with grammar. Speaking of woods, doesn't that scene in my photograph look fantastical?
I have been thinking alot about things that happen outside of our scientific understanding of this place we live. Super-natural can be described as creepy, weird, or frightening but I find it fascinating. The bookends that we are taught in this reality seem boring and I refuse to believe that there isn't more to this place that we can't see.
For this contest, I want you to select a movie with some kind of super-natural theme or idea. Tell me how it doesn't fit into the natural world and tell me why. What did you like about this fantasy aspect? What drew you to this choice? Have you ever experienced anything supernatural?
