Hello CineTV
Collecting golden rings, rescuing the princess, high speed car racing, surviving a zombie outbreak, travelling through an expansive world of creatures and enemies...video games bring so many different experiences to us. The movies that spawn from them are the same way, highly entertaining and immersive. Video games are so much a part of our cultural identity and shared experience jut like movies and television.
I want to thank everyone who participated in this weeks contest. We had a pretty strong turnout for this one and it was nice to see such a variety of choices. Without further delay...
Let's get to this week's winners:
First Place
The first place finisher was @jossduarte with a review of Warcraft: The Beginning found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@jossduarte/cinetv-contest-warcraft-the-beginning
I never really got into World of Warcraft but I loved the choice and your review. Thanks and congrats!
Second place
In second place we have @nameless16 with their choice of Resident Evil here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@nameless16/cinetv-contest-resident-evil-2002-en-es
Resident Evil is a game that I played on the Sony Playstation. Never watched the movie but at the time the game was super creepy. Thanks!
Third place
Our third place winner in this contest is @nbarrios67 with their choice of Mortal Kombat and can be found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@nbarrios67/favorite-video-game-movie-mortal-kombat-1995-pelicula-de-videojuegos-favorita-mortal-kombat-1995
This takes me back to my Sega Genesis days. Mortal Kombat is a classic and the movie seemed to do a pretty good job capturing that game pretty well. Great review!
Congrats!
225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.
Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!

Movie with a Boss
On to our next contest! Thank you to @ecency for sponsoring our Cine TV contests! Check them out at ecency.com. 🙂
You may have noticed that I didn't include the word "favorite" in this contest. There's a good reason for this, let's just say the word "boss" is a word that is currently draining every bit of my energy. I don't think I need to say any more about my current situation.
This week we are looking for you to choose a movie with a prominent boss. They could be an amazing boss or a tyrant. It's all about a movie with a boss that sticks in your mind.
Here are some ideas: have you ever had a memorable boss that is like or maybe the opposite of the one in the movie you chose? What about the boss in this film made you choose it? Is this boss someone that you would like to work for? What do you look for in a boss or if you are a boss, what do you try and bring to the job?
Those are just some ideas to get you started. Please be original
and write a creative response to the topic. Don't retell the plot or plagiarize. Originality is required for curation and to be considered for the contest.
I look forward to reading your selections. Have a great week!
Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
