Hello CineTV
Brad Pitt has had a prolific acting career with films across the spectrum of genres. I must say that I was surprised that a few movies didn't make it into our contest: Interview with a Vampire, Oceans 11, Lost City, and Fight Club was only partially mentioned. I guess we all have different tastes and that's what makes these contests interesting.
Thank you to all who participated and let's not wait any longer and...
Let's get to this week's winners:
First Place
The first place finisher was @wendy23 with a review of Mr. and Mrs. Smith found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@wendy23/cine-tv-contest-66-favorite-brad-pitt-movie-mr-and-mrs-smith-engesp
My family owns this movie (how 90's!) because we love it. Action film and a conflicted romance. It's very well done and an all around great film. Thanks for your review and congrats!
Second place
In second place we have @yole with their choice of Troy here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@yole/cinetv-contest-troy-my-favorite
While Troy is not my favorite movie it was a fantastic role for Brad Pitt as Achilles. An epic tale and battle with some real drama. Thank you for entering!
Third place
Our third place winner in this contest is @killerwot with their choice of Erin Brockovich and can be found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@killerwot/cinetv-contest-favourite-brad-pitt
I haven't seen Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, so I can't speak to the movie. But your review of Pitt's character and the storyline sounds interesting. Thanks!
Congrats!
225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.
Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!
And let's move on to the new contest!
Favorite Suspense Movie
On to our next contest! Thank you to @ecency for sponsoring our Cine TV contests! Check them out at ecency.com. 🙂
It's time for a white-knuckle, on the edge of your seat contest. The building of suspense in a film is a thing of beauty when it is done correctly. There is nothing more exhilirating than that feeling building...
Suspense can happen in a lot of different genres but I think we tend to see it in horror, action, mystery or maybe drama. All I am asking from you in this contest is to choose a movie from any genre that is a great example of being suspenseful. Tell us what makes this movie so suspenseful, make it relate to the theme.
Please be original and write a creative response to the topic. Don't retell the plot or plagiarize. Originality is required for curation and to be considered for the contest.
I look forward to reading your selections. Have a great week! As a secret added bonus, if you have read all the way to here...if you tag caulderfreeman in your review and win, I will double your Cine prize. Keep it a secret and let's see how many people actually read this. :)
Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
