CineTV Contest #68 - Favorite Movie Between Friends

in #hive-121744last year

Hello CineTV

I am not as good at building suspense as the movie choices this week. Thank you all so much for your amazing participation in the most recent contest. We had a great turnout and we had some great entries. I hope that we can continue that energy into this next week's contest.

Let's get to this week's winners:

First Place

The first place finisher was @mairene1 with a review of Smile, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@mairene1/cinetv-contest-67-favorite-suspense-movie-smile-espeng

I haven't seen the movie but from the review, it seems like such a thriller. Thanks so much for your entry and congrats!

Second place

In second place we have @thunderjack with their choice of Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@thunderjack/cinetv-contest-67-favorite-suspense-movie-abbott-and-costello-meet-the-killer-1949

I love your movie choices, especially the vintage movies that I have never seen before. The mix of comedy and suspense has to be awesome in this one. Thanks!

Third place

Our third place winner in this contest is @wendy23 with their choice of Final Destination and can be found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@wendy23/cine-tv-contest-67-favorite-suspense-movie-final-destination-engesp

The Final Destination movies and the personification of death is amazingly suspense. Great movie and series and a perfect choice. Thanks!

Congrats!

225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.

Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!

Favorite Movie Between Friends

On to our next contest! Thank you to @ecency for sponsoring our Cine TV contests! Check them out at ecency.com. 🙂

My friends (my college roommate and his family) from out of state just left from a long holiday weekend and it was a blast. Some of the common jokes between my college roommate and I are a myriad of movie quotes. But our favorite movie is one that I (caulderfreeman) have reviewed here on Cine TV: Blue Streak. We watched it so many times that we wore out our VHS tape because we were roommates back in the olden days.

I have another movie that I am going to save for the contest wrap-up to see if someone chooses it. Think about a friend of yours and a movie that you share a special love for it between the two of you. This can be a movie from any genre but in my mind it always goes back to comedies and especially one liners from those movies. But you can pick any movie from any genre as long as you can explain the movie and the connection between you and your friend.

Here are some writing ideas: How did this movie become a favorite between you and your friend? Do other people share your love for this movie? What are some of the lines from the movie that make it so memorable? Do you resonate with the characters in the movie?

Those are just some ideas to get you started. Please be original
and write a creative response to the topic. Don't retell the plot or plagiarize. Originality is required for curation and to be considered for the contest. Make your post relate to the contest to really stand out.

I look forward to reading your selections. Have a great week!

Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
