Hello and welcome back to this week’s edition of ‘Frey’s Findings’. This week I will be unveiling all that is new in the youths world! (A very different world haha!!)
This week in the movie world, the new thriller ‘Missing’ that came out last month has been a hit among people like myself.
It is a thriller mystery by the sounds of it and is RIGHT up my street. Movies like that are my type of movie for sure. Even after coming out a month ago, it has gained 86% on rotten tomatoes! Anyone watched it? Because I for sure will be streaming. Another favourite is the new film ‘When You Finish Saving the World’ (released the same day as the previous film) starring Finn Worlfhard, who starred in the Netflix original series ‘Stranger Things’ as Mike Wheeler. Both that show and Finn Wolfhard are very popular among people like me. I was obsessed with him a bit haha! I used to watch ‘Stranger Things’ every night without fail. Anyone else watched any of these films?
This week on Netflix the number one spot of most streamed is ‘Your Place or MIne’ which has been streamed for a staggering 53.81 million hours!! That is crazy to me. The film is an American romance that stars Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. Though only rating 32% on rotten tomatoes that is VERY surprising to me given that it has streamed for over 50 MILLION hours this week!! Woah!
This week on streaming platforms, BBC iPlayer has been doing well given their Eastenders storyline recently. I have been watching it every night recently and get so sad when that night's episode finishes haha! If you have read this since the start you will know that I LOVE a bit of Eastenders. Anyone else watch it? I know it is like marmite, you either like it or don’t haha! There has been a lot of new content on BBC iPlayer like all sorts of films and documentaries and old Top of the Pops episodes. All very interesting.
This week on the Youtube trending, the fight that happened between Love Island star Tommy Fury and Jake Paul has been anywhere and EVERYWHERE. It is all I keep seeing. I don’t know much about either of them but I remember when Jake Paul was trending everywhere on Youtube back in 2016 with Team10 videos. It was just a group of people who shared a house in LA and it turned out he was very abusive and pushy to those he lived with. Since then no one has really liked him much. As for Tommy Fury I know that he was a contestant on Love Island a few years back but that sort of programme isn’t really my thing.
This week in the celeb world, J-Hope has announced his departure into the military to complete two years of training. All I have been seeing on social media is everyone in mourning over it. Honestly, as stupid as it sounds I have been really upset over this. It has impacted my mental health, how stupid is that!
