We have already finished 13 episodes of the third season !
The third volume is titled "The Abaddon's Gate", written by James S. A. Corey, association of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck who are also co-producers of the tv-serie.
The war is declared between Mars and United Nations. Ships have been destroyed and a Martian minister has been murdered.
The crew of the Rocinante, James Holden's ship, got to dock for repairs. Naomi, an engineer and Holden's girlfriend, decides to join the Behemoth formerly known as the Nauvoo, the Ceinturian flagship.
The proto-molecule,far from beeing exterminated, expands to create a huge ring, which you don't pass through just as you want, and even if you manage to get through it and stay alive, some things are different.
James Holden has visions where he discusses with Miller, the ex-policeman who sacrificed himself with Julie Mao and is therefore dead. These discussions will lead him to the proto-molecule 'station' with Miller. Martians will be sent to capture him, with among those Martians the Sergeant Bobbie Draper. He will be imprisoned and questionned on the Behemoth, which is one of the only ships capable of generating gravity and has therefore invites the wounded aboard, whether they are Earthlings, Martians or Ceinturians, to receive the necessary care as no one can heal internal bleedings in zero gravity environments.
I'm not a scientist, so I'm just writing down what has been said in the show.
There are many other things that happened in this season, but the purpose of my articles is to make you want to watch the show or the movie, by telling you about the main topics, not to take away your interest in watching them by telling you everything.
I think I'm starting to like the series a bit more, even if I still have trouble with Space. I'd really have trouble living in that kind of place: you open the ship's door before you've properly sealed your helmet and upsa ! You're dead ! Even if I'm not distracted by nature, I sometimes get tired, and that would be fatal.
Could you live in this kind of environment ?
