Avatar's first movie (2009)
I still remember when the first Avatar movie was released, how much it was hyped by everyone, and how people loved it after they finally saw the movie. I wasn't one of the people seeing it right away, it took me some time to watch as I generally don't really like these longer movies because I either fall asleep or lose my focus, haha. But when I finally saw it, it was worth it and I agree when someone calls it a piece of art.
The Way Of Water
Fourteen years later, it's time to watch Avatar The Way Of Water. I didn't want to watch this one in the cinema for the reasons mentioned above as well as the fact that it would have been in Spanish. I preferred seeing it in the original language. It took some time before I could watch it but it was worth the wait, let me tell you that!
Even if you don't remember the history of the first movie exactly, the movie is mesmerizing to watch and I've enjoyed watching it from the beginning until the end, without falling asleep, haha.
Beautifully made
Everything is created so beautifully, I wonder how anyone can watch this movie without feeling the emotions and love. The Avatar's connection with the sea and the creatures in the sea is well done, I really had several moments where I turned emotional by watching them being stressed, worried, or incredibly sad. This second part of Avatar is another piece of art and if you loved part one, I highly recommend you to watch this one as well.
If you haven't seen part one, try to watch part one first and then watch part two so you have seen the whole story. They are both well worth it. In fact, I'm soon going to watch them both again.
As you can see, I'm trying to refrain from spoiling anything, this movie is a masterpiece you have to watch yourself. If you did, let me know your thoughts in a comment below.
