Hello everyone, today is a very special day for me. Today is the day I started using Hive. I registered on this platform on May 10th last year and it's been exactly 1 year. I didn't even realize how time has passed. I'm going to talk about how this year has been for me and what I want to do in the future on Hive. Buckle up, it's going to be a long post.

My Hive Anniversary Cake

A week ago I went to a patisserie and asked them to make a cake with the Hive logo on it. Unfortunately the employee told me that the cake had to be for at least 8 people and that it would cost 300-350 Turkish Liras. After hearing this, I gave up buying the cake because my girlfriend and I are going to eat it together and there are only two of us. So we cannot finish a cake for 8 people. Also the price is quite expensive.

So I decided to make my own Hive anniversary cake at home and I made the Hive logo on it with a cake topper. I apologize for being so bad at geometry. It's not a great logo, but isn't it important to think about it and do it? I hope so. Don't forget to leave your thoughts about my cake in the comments 😂. I used strawberry pudding for the first time in a long time and it tasted great.

Beginning

When I started Hive, I had never written a blog post before and at first I didn't know what to write so much that I didn't think I could do it. The post I introduced myself got very few votes and the posts I shared after that didn't get many votes either. Then I decided to do what I love on Hive and started sharing my game posts with people. Even though they didn't get many votes at first, I improved by reading, learning and interacting with people every day and I gained a readership and followers on Hive. Was it easy? No, nothing that is easy will get you anything. Looking back, I realized that @pusen, @derangedvisions, @daltono @damla and @ahmetay gave me the biggest support at that time. Thank you all very much. If I have improved myself so much in Hive today, it is thanks to your contributions.

Progress

The reason for the difficulty I had in the beginning was that there were few resources in Turkish and I didn't know where to find English resources. I continued to research and ask people on the Discord server and read as many resources as I could find. Since I had no previous blockchain experience, some terms were very unfamiliar, but over time I understood them all. Then I slowly tried to help my community. I translated some terms for Turkish users, I translated events like Hive Power Up Day into Turkish. I gave them and everyone who followed me advice on what to do and what not to do on Hive. I did my best to give back the support my community gave me. Thanks to OCD, I started curating the Hive Gaming community and I tried to do my best for it. Thank you so much @acidyo for giving me this opportunity. I've met so many amazing people on Hive, and if I tried to write all of their names here right now, I wouldn't be able to fit them all in here. Thank you so much for writing great posts and letting me meet you or for visiting my posts and meeting me.

Conclusion

When I look back from the past to today, I think Hive has added a lot to my life. I have traveled to many countries without even taking a step, I had the chance to visit the top of the mountains, the bottom of the seas, churches, mosques, castles and many other places I cannot count. I've learned more about the culture of many countries than I could have ever found by searching on the internet. I've made great friends and invested in my future thanks to Hive. I think Hive is the platform of the future. It's a pioneer among the Web 3 social media platforms and once its value is understood, it can change the lives of many people here in a positive way. I don't expect it to go as high as Bitcoin, but why not? I mean, imagine that a Hive is $1000 in 10 years, and then a lot of people here can become millionaires. We could be the millionaires of the future. Of course, I can't say that for sure, but like I said, why not? Who knew when Bitcoin was 40 cents that it would go so high?

I've spent a lot of time on Hive. 235 posts and 6960 comments in 365 days. I'm sure I've commented on many of your posts before, even if you don't know it 😂 I've participated in many events and now I organize events myself. I have a voice chat program called "To Hive with Incublus". I chat with people about Hive for 1 hour every Friday night. I'm organizing TR Hive Power Up Day for Turks again and I'll try to support people who power up their accounts. For a while I worked on translating Ecency into Turkish for the web version and although I don't have time right now, I'm planning to start working on it again soon.

Power of Hive Community

Yes, Hive is the strongest platform and has the most amazing community. When the earthquake happened in Turkey on February 6th, I was so scared because my girlfriend was in the earthquake zone and I couldn't sleep at night in case something happened to her. I can't describe here the fear I felt until I went to her house from the city where she was working as a teacher. After she went home, I felt so sad for the people who died or became homeless in my country and I never felt good. I stayed away from Hive for a long time. Before I stayed away, I shared a post about the earthquake and all the people in the Hive community supported me with everything they could. Thank you so much to everyone who trusted me and sent support. Thanks to Hive, many people were able to have a hot soup, find a blanket or a tent in the cold weather. I am very grateful to everyone who helped.

Goal

I want to stay at Hive for many years. I want to serve the community as much as possible and increase the awareness of Hive in the world. I will start by introducing Hive in Turkey. I will organize conferences to introduce Hive in universities and blockchain communities. I aim to increase the number of users and bring quality people to Hive. Of course, I also have personal goals. I want to be a Witness in Hive within this year. I don't know if I can do it, we'll see, but so far I've done and achieved everything I wanted to do to the best of my ability. I continue to do research for this.

Hepinize merhaba, bugün benim için çok özel bir gün. Bugün benim Hive'a başladığım gün. Geçen yıl 10 Mayıs'ta bu platforma kayıt oldum ve tam 1 yıl oldu. Zamanın nasıl geçtiğini bile anlamadım. Bu bir yılın benim için nasıl geçtiğine, gelecekte Hive'da neler yapmak istediğime dair konuşacağım. Kemerlerinizi bağlayın, uzun bir post olacak.

Hive Yıl Dönümü Pastam

Bir hafta önce bir pastaneye gittim ve üzerinde Hive logosu olan bir pasta yapmalarını istedim. Maalesef çalışan pastanın en az 8 kişilik olması gerektiğini ve bunun da 300-350 Türk Lirası tutacağını söyledi. Bunu duyduktan sonra pastayı satın almaktan vazgeçtim çünkü pastayı kız arkadaşımla birlikte yiyeceğiz ve sadece iki kişiyiz. Yani 8 kişilik bir pastayı bitiremeyiz. Ayrıca fiyatı da oldukça pahalı.

Bu yüzden Hive yıl dönümü pastamı evde kendim yapmaya karar verdim. Üzerine de pasta süsüyle Hive logosu yaptım. Geometri konusunda çok başarısız olduğum için özür dilerim. Harika bir logo olmadı ama önemli olan bunu düşünüp yapmak değil mi? Umarım öyledir. Pastam hakkındaki düşüncelerinizi yorumlarda belirtmeyi unutmayın 😂. Çilekli pudingi uzun zaman sonra ilk defa kullandım ve tadı harikaydı.

Başlangıç

Hive'a başladığımda daha önce hiç blog yazısı yazmamıştım ve başlarda o kadar ne yazacağımı bilmiyordum ki bir an bu işi yapamayacağımı düşünmeye başladım. Kendimi tanıttığım post çok az oy almıştı, sonrasında paylaştığım postlarda da pek oy aldığım söylenemez. Daha sonra Hive'da sevdiğim şeyi yapmaya karar verdim ve insanlarla oyun postlarımı paylaşmaya başladım. Başlarda onlar da pek oy almasa da her gün okuyarak, öğrenerek ve insanlarla etkileşime geçerek geliştirdim ve Hive'da kendime okur kitlesi ve takipçiler edindim. Kolay mıydı? Hayır, kolay olan hiçbir şey size bir şey kazandırmaz. Geçmişe dönüp baktığımda bana o dönem en büyük desteği @pusen, @derangedvisions, @daltono @damla ve @ahmetay'ın verdiğini gördüm. Hepinize çok teşekkür ederim. Bugün Hive'da bu kadar kendimi geliştirdiysem sizin katkılarınız sayesinde oldu.

Gelişme

Başta yaşadığım zorluğun sebebi Türkçe kaynak miktarının az olmasıydı ve İngilizce kaynağı da nereden bulabileceğimi bilmiyordum. Araştırmaya ve Discord sunucusunda insanlara sormaya devam ettim ve bulabildiğim kadar çok kaynağı okudum. Daha önce blockchain tecrübem olmadığı için bazı terimler çok yabancı geliyordu ama zamanla hepsini anladım. Daha sonra yavaş yavaş topluluğuma yardımcı olmaya çalıştım. Türk kullanıcılar için bazı terimleri, Hive Power Up Day gibi etkinlikleri Türkçe'ye çevirdim. Onlara ve beni takip eden herkese Hive'da neleri yapıp neleri yapmamaları gerektiğine dair tavsiyeler verdim. Topluluğumun bana verdiği desteği onlara geri vermek için elimden geleni yaptım. OCD sayesinde Hive Gaming topluluğunda küratörlük yapmaya başladım ve bunun için elimden geleni yapmaya çalıştım. Bana bu fırsatı verdiği için @acidyo'ya çok teşekkür ederim. Hive'da bir sürü inanılmaz harika insanla tanıştım. Şu anda hepsinin ismini buraya yazmaya çalışsam buraya sığdırmam mümkün değil. Harika postlar yazıp sizinle tanışmamı sağladığınız için ya da postlarımı ziyaret edip benimle tanıştığınız için çok teşekkür ederim.

Sonuç

Geçmişten bugüne dönüp baktığımda Hive'ın hayatıma çok şey kattığını düşünüyorum. Bir sürü ülkeyi bir adım bile atmadan gezdim, dağların tepesini, denizlerin dibini, kiliseleri, camileri, kaleleri ve daha sayamayacağım pek çok yeri gezme şansı elde ettim. Birçok ülkenin kültürüne dair internette araştırarak bulamayacağım bilgiler öğrendim. Harika arkadaşlar edindim ve Hive sayesinde geleceğime yatırım yaptım. Hive'ın geleceğin platformu olduğunu düşünüyorum. Web 3 sosyal medya platformları arasında bir öncü ve değeri anlaşıldığında buradaki pek çok insanın hayatı olumlu yönde değişebilir. Bitcoin kadar yükselmesini beklemiyorum ama neden olmasın? Yani bir Hive'ın 10 yıl sonra 1000 dolar olduğunu hayal edin ve o zaman buradaki pek çok insan milyoner olabilir. Geleceğin milyoneri olabiliriz. Tabi ki buna dair kesin bir şey söyleyemem ama dediğim gibi neden olmasın? Kim Bitcoin 40 cent iken onun bu kadar yükseleceğini bilebilirdi ki?

Hive'da oldukça fazla zaman geçirdim. 365 güne 235 post ve 6960 yorum sığdırdım. Eminim siz bilmeseniz bile birçoğunuzun postuna daha önce yorum yapmışımdır XD Birçok etkinliğe katıldım ve artık kendim de etkinlikler organize ediyorum. "To Hive with Incublus" adında bir sesli sohbet programım var. Her Cuma akşamı 1 saat Hive üzerine insanlarla sohbet ediyorum. Türkler için TR Hive Power Up Day'i tekrar organize ediyorum ve hesabını güçlendiren insanlara destek olmaya çalışacağım. Bir süre Ecency web sürümü için Türkçe'ye çevirmek için çalıştım ve şu anda zamanım olmasa da yakında tekrar bunun için tekrar çalışmaya başlamayı düşünüyorum.

Hive Topluluğunun Gücü

Evet, Hive gördüğüm en güçlü platform ve en harika topluluğa sahip. Türkiye'de 6 Şubat'ta deprem olduğunda elim ayağıma dolaştı çünkü kız arkadaşım da deprem bölgesindeydi, ona bir şey olur diye geceleri uyuyamıyordum. Öğretmen olarak görev yaptığı şehirden kendi evine gidene kadar yaşadığım korkuyu burada tarif edemem. O evine gittikten sonra da ülkemde ölen veya evsiz kalan insanlar için çok üzüldüm ve asla kendimi iyi hissedemedim. Hive'dan uzunca bir süre uzak kaldım. Uzak kalmadan önce deprem ile ilgili bir post paylaşmıştım ve Hive topluluğundaki bütün insanlar yapabildikleri her şeyle bana destek oldular. Bana güvenen ve destek yollayan herkese çok teşekkür ederim. Hive sayesinde birçok insan soğuk havalarda sıcak bir çorba içti, bir battaniye ya da çadır bulabildi. Yardım eden herkese çok minnettarım.

Hedef

Hive'da uzun yıllar kalmak istiyorum. Topluluğa olabildiğince hizmet etmek ve Hive'ın dünyada bilinirliğini artırmak istiyorum. Buna Hive'ı Türkiye'de tanıtarak başlayacağım. Üniversitelerde ve blockchain topluluklarında Hive'ı tanıtmak için konferanslar düzenleyeceğim. Kullanıcı sayısını artırmak ve Hive'a kaliteli insanlar kazandırmayı hedefliyorum. Tabi ki kişisel hedeflerim de var. Bu yıl içinde Hive'da Witness olmak istiyorum. Bunu yapabilir miyim? Bilmiyorum, göreceğiz ama bugüne kadar yapmak istediğim her şeyi elimden gelen en iyi şekilde yaptım ve başardım. Bunun için araştırmalar yapmaya devam ediyorum.
