I cherish the bonds I make....loh #192.

Pleasnt greetings everyone! Welcome to a new month.

I grew up as an introvert, always keeping to myself either staying indoors to read my novels or watch movies while munching on some chips. I really feel content whenever I'm in my own space doing what I love to do.

This trait of mine was accentuated by the kind of apartment we lived in. It was a three bedroom apartment with it's own balcony and gate for privacy and safety. I hardly had time to see the neighbour's kids or play with them as I and my siblings were usually kept indoors behind the locked gates.

Some time later, I got into secondary school and I had to carry out so many activities and projects together with my peers in class and that led to me having to form bonds with others. At first I was skeptical about it but I later found out that it was a whole new level of fun to mingle and that's how I made friends with most of my peers.

As time progressed, I can undoubtedly say that I have benefitted greatly from my friendships. To have people look after you, go the extra mile for you, wanting to see you succeed at your endeavours and care for you, is such an amazing feeling that most times I can't help but to thank God for blessing my life with such friends.

I don't joke with my friends at all. This has been a long standing attribute of mine. No one messes with my friends and goes away with it, no no. My friends are my inner circle, they are such that can get to see me vulnerable because I trust them to not spill. I absolutely and passionately cherish my friendship bonds.

Can you make friends easily?

It is said that...

"he who wants friends should first become friendly".

In as much as I am a fun loving person, easy going and approachable, I would not really say that I make friends easily. Before calling anyone my friend, that person would have been tested in several cases by me before adding them him or her to my friend list. I had to start doing this after so many experiences of betrayal by some so called friends, who only made friends with me for what they could extract and vanished once they had done their damage.

So far, my friendship chain isn't large but I'm grateful for having such amazing friends both offline and online, I am grateful for their invaluable effects on and in my life.

Cheers to great bonds and friendships.

That quote is very correct, one has to be friendly to have friends.

@beckyroyal, You have received 1.0000 LOH for posting in Ladies of Hive. We believe that you should be rewarded for the time and effort spent in creating articles. The goal is to encourage token holders to accumulate and hodl LOH tokens over a long period of time.

It's always hard for an introvert to make friends but the little cycle of friends they have are enough for such an individual and it is better to have good ones than those who wouldn't add positive impact on you.

Exactly oooo

Thank you sis 😍
