Here a man’s heart is, his treasures will be there. His mind and time will always tend to such a place. He finds delight and joy being there. And whenever he goes there, he will usually go with everything he has. That will mean that he will be spending most of what he has in such places. Where the treasure of a man is, his heart will be there.
The main factor that drive one in search of a place of pleasure and entertainment is pleasure. If he finds what pleases him anywhere, he will go more often. His joy and his happiness will be tied to such a place. That is the case with where we spend our time when we need pleasure.
There are many things I could say about this #memoirmonday prompt. This week ask for my all time favorite restaurants. I could talk about the several places I have visited while on transit or while away from home. Some could be when attending church conferences, etc. But I prefer to talk about what I want and what I prefer. I have had several opportunities visiting restaurants. Some of them have been very appealing. I don't even take note of the identity and locations of most of them. Some have just a one time touch. But really I loved their deliveries. I loved most of the dishes I had there. I loved the setting of their dining tables. I loved the decorations on their walls. Some of them have presented quite interesting services. These were really wonderful experiences.
It is a good thing to me to make one's inner life really what you appreciate outside or in other people. In the light of this, I choose to respond to @ericvancewalton in this prompt from a viewpoint that will leave a more lasting impact in my life and family. So, I am looking at my home, my dining table, and my kitchen as my favorite places of pleasure.
When we call ourselves home and take pleasure in our homes we will really make good wives and mothers. If I have a favorite restaurant outside my home, then my legs will take me out of my home more often and my home will certainly lose its values and icings. I want and desire that my home will be and remain the favorite restaurants for every member of my family.
I bring home those things I have learned from others outside. I copy the setting and the recipes I see in the good restaurants I have had time to visit and duplicate what I see there in my home. I want my husband and my kids to appreciate my kitchen and my home more than any other restaurant outside. So, I try to bring those things they would have gone out to look for outside into the home. I achieve this by ensuring that the thing I delight in and taste after, I bring it home to my house.
