A big hello community! Yesterday I realized that I no longer had coffee and believe me that is a great tragedy when it happens, I had no plans to leave the house to buy things at the supermarket but when it comes to coffee it is a very serious matter so we prepared ourselves and went to buy several things for the house.

El día de ayer me di cuenta que ya no tenía café y créanme eso es una gran tragedia cuando pasa, no tenía planes de salir de casa para comprar cosas en el supermercado pero cuando se trata de café es un tema muy serio así que nos preparamos y fuimos a comprar varias cosas para la casa.

We quickly returned with the most important things, my brother had already bought cheese, ham and cream, so I complemented by buying 2 large loaves of bread and of course the coffee of my favorite brand: Paramo Azabache curiously it was at a very good price and my mother loves this coffee so on this side we fulfilled the mission but there was still something very important left and the chocolate, well it turns out that next week I will be really busy with teaching matters at the university and I will surely not have time to be buying things.
Volvimos rápidamente con las cosas más importantes, ya mi hermano había comprado queso, jamón y crema de leche, así que yo complemente comprando 2 panes grandes y por supuesto el café de mi marca favorita: Paramo Azabache curiosamente estaba a muy buen precio y a mi madre le encanta este café así que por este lado cumplimos la misión pero aún quedaba algo muy importante y el chocolate, pues resulta que la semana que viene estaré realmente ocupado con asuntos de la docencia en la universidad y seguramente no tendré tiempo de estar comprando cosas.
As you can see, these are 2 chocolates and I am in a big dilemma right now, because I want to give one of them to a friend who has been very special and considerate with me but I don't know which one to give her because they are both very tasty! That's why I titled this post as Valentine's Day Advent, I still have time to prepare my gift for that special person. 😜
Como pueden ver estoy son 2 chocolates y me encuentro en un gran dilema en este momento, porque uno de ellos quiero obsequiarlo a una amistad que ha sido muy especial y considerada conmigo pero no se cual obsequiarle porque ambos son muy sabrosos! Por eso titulé este post como advenimiento de San Valentin, aun tengo tiempo para preparar mi regalo para esa persona especial. 😜
We arrived quite hot from the mall and while we were preparing lunch we decided to make a tinto de verano, this drink consists of taking a glass and filling it 3/4 with sangria, my favorite brand of sangria is La Caroreña, there is nothing better than that. Later we complete the volume of the glass with Chinotto if you are from Venezuela and if you are from another country in the global north or south, use 7up. The result is a refreshing elixir that helps you get through the day especially if you are from a hot tropical country.
Llegamos bastante acalorados del centro comercial y mientras preparábamos el almuerzo decidimos prepararnos un tinto de verano, esta bebida consiste en tomar una copa y llenarlo 3/4 con sangría, mi marca de sangría favorita es La Caroreña no hay nada mejor que eso. Posteriormente completamos el volumen de la copa con Chinotto si eres de Venezuela y si eres de otro país del norte o sur global, usa 7up. El resultado es una un elixir refrescante que te ayuda a sobrellevar el día sobre todo si eres de algún país caluroso del trópico.
Well, friends, our lunch was this delicious meat with rice, a nice baked plantain and some French fries. Unfortunately, we didn't have tomato sauce at home, so we had to settle for a corn sauce that my brother had bought in mid-December! Even so, it gave the meat a nice flavor. Y bien amigos nuestro almuerzo fue esta carne deliciosa con arroz, un buen plátano horneado y unas papas fritas, lamentablemente no teníamos salsa de tomate en la casa así que tuvimos que conformarnos con una salsa de maíz que mi hermano había comprado a mediados de diciembre! Aun así le dio un buen sabor a la carne, en un próximo post les compartiré cual fue el chocolate que terminé escogiendo.
