Hello hive family I bring you greetings from here, today I'll show you how I cut and sew a baby gown Here I have my material's to sew the dress
I have my rubber material
Lining
Babylace
Strong net or hard net
And lace-mouth for design
On this baby gown after measuring out my half-length I didn't cut out the back and front separately, I joined it together and give out my one inches allowance for my zip as you can see.
and on it I didn't cut out my hand pit side cause it's going to be a fixed hand and a sleeve hand attach to it
After removing my half-length for the up then I proceeded by cutting the down part which I'll attach to it, and I also cut out my hard net and lining and each of this one most be longer than the other, seeing from the photo my material is longer than my lining and so also the lining is longer than the net
And I proceeded by putting up my lining on the upper side of my gown for both the front and back side, and I also put in my dart to give it a shape at the waist side, this is how it looks after the lining.
Then I joined the down part also of which my material is up, my net is at the middle and the lining below, after that I proceeded by putting my lace-mouth at the arge of the material as you can see from the photo.
After joining the down part I cut out my hand pit where I'll fix my hand as you can see and how I fixed the hand.
Then I proceeded to join the gown and this is it after joining the down part.
After that I proceeded by fixing my hands, and babylace round the shoulder and now this is the outcome after fixing and joining everything together.
