Today I will show you how I cut and sew a Short gown for a birthday.
Material needed for the gown.
Duchess material,Oganza,Lining,Zip and my Cosette breast part.
First I started by cutting the front part of the gown by thirty inches that's for the length and I sketch out my shape and the place I will be fixing by Cosette breast part and place the Cosette on the material and I used my chalk to sketch it out and I cut.
Then I proceeded to cut the back which I will be cutting it separately, the upper side by ten inches and the down part by fifteen inches.
Then I cut out the material I will be using to cover the Cosette, and I have to give an extra allowance for the sewing.
Then I cut out my lining for all the part needed and I proceed in fixing the lining.

This is the front part before fixing the Cosette I have to put in my lining to.

After all that I proceed to iron it then I joined the both side together that's the back and the front side of the gown.
Now I proceeded to cut my oganza by three inches folding by two and I proceed to fix it by plinting it on top of the gown from the front side to the back side all round and this is the out come.
And this is the back after taking it to the market to fix the hole for the rope.
Now I added a little rose flower and the hand and this is the outfit.
