Good morning family, today I will show you how I Cut a shot gown with a side fley attached to it at the side, and it's a princess Brest part.
Here I have my Ankara material, lining, zip, and my soft Brest part.
First I start by cutting the down part of the gown by thirty two inches with my two inches allowance for the back side for my zip.
Then I cut my back side by sixteen inches, I cut out my hand pit by eight inches and the neck length by two inches.
And for the front part which is for the princess Brest part, I fold my material by two, measure out my length by sixteen inches, measure out my hand pit, and from the top of the hand pit you will measure out three inches or four inches depending on the person bust point of which for this I will be using three inches, and I came back and measure out my bust point which is ten inches that's from the shoulder to the breast , and then I measure out for inches from the bust point down straight and the three inches from the hand pit,I sketch it out and have the curve for my breast part.
And this is how it looks after cutting it.
Then I proceeded to cut out my fley , length by eight inches and I cut it double into four after joining it I will have it full and how long I want it to be, this is the fley and I will show you the full size after everything.
I proceeded to cut out my lining for each part that I need.
And I also cut out my breast part, and before sewing it I iron the breast part on the material for it to gum before sewing.
Then I proceeded to join the breast part and cut out my neck.
And for this type of breast part you have to sew it before cutting your neck.
The I proceeded to fixed my lining for the back side both the down and upper side.
Then I fix my lining for the down part of the gown for the front and I joined it.
And this is the fley after sewing it together.
After everything I proceed to cut my hand by eight inches, then I joined everything together, fix my hand and I also attached my fley on the dress and this is the out come and how it looks.
Thanks for stopping by and going through this.
