Hello @Needleworkmonday Lovers

How are you doing, hope everyone is staying warm and cozy.
Today i want to share with you all my work/pattern and how i cut and sew this beautiful Sunday outfit for my baby.

I've come to realize many things about sewing, it is an important things for each and every one of us to understand and agree that sewing is a practical skill and a type of art production, it explore the materials and techniques used in the sewing process, sewing is just an everlasting joining in this life, so far as needlework is concerned, I'm really proud of this #Needlework community that gives us this great opportunity to share our works, ideas, tips, pattern and shortcuts, we learned from each other through our sharing write up, i really learn alot in this amazing community.

Sewing is our stone experience foundation which stands forever, the roof of establishment, as long as sewing is ongoing process therefore our learning and experience is still ongoing.

I love and enjoy sewing a beautiful outfit for my baby because i really want to use as my catalogue, and i feel so excited because she gave me more customers, this time around i was searching for a style on friends phone so i discover that i didn't sew a joining flay gown for her before, so i decided to go with the style, although i didn't have enough fabric for the style, i remember this fabric that i sew my client and she gave me the remaining to sew for my baby, and it is the to sew this style for her.

Cutting and Sewing process

I started with the half length process, (the princess dart) i firstly used the lining to cut in of any mistake, i folded the lining in two i measured her half lenth our, measured her burst and body divided by 4 and i have her normal shape plus 2 inches, and i quickly go up and measured her shoulder, from her shoulder down to 5 inches which is her hamhold, after having all the measurement with her body shape i measured her dart which is 4 inches width and the length is from the down part of the dress straight to her nipple point cough to her hamhold. After finishing with the drafting i cut it out, after cutting out the lining i placed the fabric and cut the fabric out.

*** After drafting out the lining***

After cutting out the main front fabric

I folded the fabric again in two, so i placed the front part on it, i pit 1 and the half inches for zipper allawance and then i cut out the back part.

Placing the front part to cut out the back part

The back cutting

The back and front cutting

After finishing with the cutting i moved ahead and turn them with lining.

After turning them, i picked out the front part and used my black bias and design the dart point.

Here is the black bias

Here is how i design it

The flay cutting process

Firstly i folded the fabric in to four and i take the full measurements that I'm working with, after that i devide her body into four and cut it out.

After drafting it

This is the front cutting

Because there will be a zip at the back, so i folded the back in two and cut it open intwo places and i just open the front so i will be able to join is at the side.

After cutting it i turn them with lining

Placing on the lining

After turning with lining

After tuning with lining, i join them on the upper half length, after that i pit a zip at the back.

After putting the zip

After putting the zip, i joined them together and cut out the slit and join them on the dress, and the dress look so beautiful.

Looking so beautiful at the church

Hope is so beautiful

Thank you all for visiting my blog, and i will be waiting for your comment
