Here we go again and again, in this publication, i will love love to share with you all, in step by step on how i cut and sew this free gown to myself.

People love this gown style each day i wear it, as for me i love more, they also said that the weather is too hot but the are confusing theirself, the answer there is that, in my life stressing myself sometimes is what i definitely don't like, especially now that i put to birth, i just have to be quick in anything i do and in time.
Sewing this free gown gave be alot of customers, my neighbors complaining of hot weather and she is the kind of person that normally sweat even in dry and raining seasons, so she brought me about 3 fabrics to sew this same style for her, I'm really proud to be a seamstress,

I bought this fabric from my neighbor's daughter, which she came back from her friends Traditional marriage and it was the Traditional marriage uniform, she was the Chief Bride maid which their unform was special, so she came back with the fabric and told that she want to sell 3yards of it and keep 3yards for herself, so i desirded to buy it because the fabric looks so beautiful.

Here is the fabric, it's so beautiful

I was searching for a simple gown, then i remember this free and simple gown that i sew, I really like the style with zip at the back.

Omog, each time i wear this clothe go out, even in the market, people admire a lot.

So i wanted something so simple and free, added with beauty, so i come up with this syle.

The cutting and sewing Procedure

Step 1

I folded the fabric by two, i measured out the shoulder, the half length and full length, then i take my burst measurements and divide by four, i also take my body measurements and divide by four too, then i added 2 and the half inches for sewing allowance, because it will be a little free, and i take the neck length and wide measurements, and i cut it out.

After drafting

After cutting out

Step 2

After cutting out the front, i folded the fabric again in two, i placed the front on it, and i cut it out exactly as the front because there will be no zipper at the bank.

After cutting out

Step 3

After cutting out the back, i folde it in two equal parts and i open with 3inches length so that it will be easier for to pass through my head, after that i went to my sewing machine and joined the body together and used a black lining and used my black bias and turned round the necklace line till till the back side.

Step 4

After turning the necklace line, i went ahead with the black bias and turned the ham hold, after that i put the two side pocket and give the hem bending and put a fancy bottin at the back and Iron it.

Here is the back with fancy bottin

And here is the finish work

This is so beautiful and so so simple and easly to wear

I really appreciate you, spending your time in reading through my post, thank you so much
