Hello everyone 🦋, I can't help my smiles today because, guess what? Here, the creativity is wide, so today I was inspired to make something that drives my state of mind toward nature, e and what's more natural than a flower? They look peaceful; they represent grace and beauty; and their fragrance is divine. When God created this beautiful thing called flowers, he really knew what he was doing. Flowers always beatified the whole household.
So today I created my very first paper flower. Yes, you heard me—my very first!! And I'm so excited to show you the process.
The process
• First, I had to find my way to the market, where I got this light sheet of paper. I got them in different colors: pink, red, purple, green, etc.
° Then I proceeded immediately when I got home. I got my scissors, pencil, and rule; my paper gum or top bond; and a rule for lines and measurement. All the tools included are mine.
• First, I cut off a piece of purple paper and measured 8.3 x 30 cm on the paper for the size of my flower. Now you can use a measurement longer than this if you want the flower to be fuller.
° Then I proceeded to fold the paper in half. Then I picked up my scissors and cut the sides in small lines until the end. I did the same process with the other two papers I had with me.
• Then I glue up the uncut part together and proceed to a pen, a little bigger than a normal pen, to wrap the paper I had cut into small petals for the flower around it. By the time I was done with the last one, I already had my flower petals looking amazing.
° Then, for the stem and the leaves, I used a green paper sheet. It was a little hard getting the stem done because the paper was a bit harder than the rest. I advise you to get really soft papers for this and roll them up till they're straight like a stick. Then draw the leaf however you like with a pencil on the paper, cut the leaves out, gum the leaves on the stem carefully, and allow it to dry before you proceed with putting the head or capitulum directly on the stem.
This is the final work. I was really excited that I was able to pull it through because, as I said earlier, this was the first time I have ever made a paper flower, and it turned out really well for a first-timer. I really love that you like it because I do, and note that you can use any type of color for the petals, but the stem and leaves have to be green, of course, so it can represent nature in a more realistic light.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy the process and you can make one for your too.
