Classification of Toad
Toads are classified as belonging to the Anura family which share the same features as frogs and all are under the family Bufonidae.
The physical characteristics
The physical characteristics of toads are bumpy skin, dry skin, short legs, and sta out body. They brown which helps them fit into their environment.
Habitat
Toads are found in the oceanic islands, where there is water. They are found all over the world except in polar regions. I could recall, how we used to play with frogs in the well water, in my childhood days, when we went to scoop water from the well. It was a wonderful moment that time. Things have changed, and there is no well water found in my village.
Life Span
Toads lay eggs in the water and hatch within a few days. Toads vary in lifespan due to the species and environmental condition.
In wildtoads
Wildtoads lives from 5 to 10 years depending on the environment they fine themselves.
These are the few things I can say about toads.
