Today, I got a little too carried away with my Holozing fan art and ended up creating something pretty playful... I made the Healer of the Forest ride on Larvie!
This is exactly the kind of vibe I imagine when I'm working on Holozing fan art. I love visualizing how the healer and the holomon would interact, and I think bringing that playful energy into the game would make it feel even more relatable. Honestly, I’m already brainstorming my next concept, where I can throw a bunch of holomons and healers into one epic battle scene. What do you all think, Holozing community? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
Now, let me take you through how I brought this piece to life.
It all started with a simple sketch. I drew Larvie and the Healer separately so I could manage the outlines more easily later on.

For the outlines, I used just one Photoshop layer. I figured I could keep things simple and efficient by using layer masks for shading later.

Once the outlines were set, the coloring was a breeze. With everything neatly outlined, I just grabbed the wand tool, selected the areas I wanted to color, and used the paint bucket to drop in the shades I wanted.

For the background and foreground, I went with basic colored shapes. My plan was to apply some motion blur to give the sense of fast movement, really making the characters pop.
As a final touch, I added some sketchy lines to show off the movement of the characters. And that's it! I hope you enjoyed my little art journey today.
