These butterflies have some really interesting patterns on their wings. It almost looks like something that was patented; the round, eye-like features appear almost randomly, and the rest of these patterns change from one end of the wings to the other. Each one is unlike the other; the patterns shift from each butterfly, which adds a certain unique look to the individuals. It was a treat to see several together like this as they feasted and rested, which made for plenty of time to get some good close-ups.
