In this post I am just venting 🤣 Well not quite I am still in the process.
If you follow the blog you know I am into 3d printing and I even bought a liquid resin 3d printer.
It can do some amazing quality prints however the fumes can be fairly toxic and so I said I would not be using it anymore until I set up a ventilation system.
That was my project for the day, mostly a lot of waiting for 3d printed parts
I designed and used others designs and so that took a while.
I bought some boards from the dollar store for the walls of the enclosure
I also bought this cheap fan with a pipe, I designed some parts around it
Right bellow is how it looks on the inside, I even printed the nuts and bolts.
And then after I set up the vent I designed and printed it also serves as the part that attaches to the pipe
Here is how we looking now, I realize I will need to get some more piping , I thought I would be able to cut it in half but a meter seems to be a bit to short.
And there is how it's going to be set up it sits on top of the printer, I still need to get another pipe like I mentioned also I need to print similar vent pieces for the window exhaust part of the system I also have to design and print the window section and a hood to prevent water or snow from getting in or blocking the exhaust.
