Well it is official we are now the owner of the Grom killer. Yep 135cc roughly 100 miles to the gallon and it is a 2022. Newest bike I've ever had.

Best part is it's completely 100% paid for. No issues about repossessions if I don't remember to make a payment.

And 266 lb it's light enough if it does fall over I can pick it up. It's only got a 1.9 gallon tank which means we're looking at around 180 miles capability. However I believe it's got less than 3000 miles.

Super excited for it to happen!

Previous owner is also available to help me out if I have any problems with the paperwork.

Well I think I did pretty well especially coming in under$100 of what the previous owner paid for it. Yep that's right he got into it for 2K and for me to offer 1900 it worked out perfectly for him.

Apparently he has a pregnant girlfriend and this was going to be her bike to learn how to ride on.

So I definitely have to say that I am absolutely in 100% totally tickled.

Although after I did get it and we did the paperwork I found out it ended up having some mud on the tires. Which means that it got tracked about. So I had to clean and wash everything up.

Which means I was pretty pooped afterwards and with all the excitement. So I ended up going and crashing out for an excellent nap.

We will see how things go in the next little bit. Getting it titled is the next step and that's going to cost a couple of bucks. Plus getting my insurance canceled and switched over to cover this bike.

Some more big moves are coming.

And best thing is I was able to not touch my hbd savings!

Super excited. In fact this would be one of the best things ever.

Yeah I know it really sucks to buy a bike during winter and have to rely on that for transportation. However so far this bike is extremely comfortable.

Yep a lot of stress has departed now I can get around more.

I am super appreciative that I am actually able to have such an awesome bike!

Owning something outright is the best, and light enough to pick it up if you dump it is also a bonus. Congrats!

Yep I absolutely love this little bike! Definitely it's a fun ride. Also having the astronomical gas mileage is really going to help me out. And I mean I only really need this bike to run back and forth to the chiropractor and to get groceries. However the Ford was doing 11 mpg. Kinda glad I'm out of that.

I am glad you could get hold of this cool sports bike it looks so wonderful and is a marvel to look at really. What impresses me also is that you have given 100 percent payment for this bike meaning you are done with this transaction which is great to see as well.

Hahahahaha! Omg!

Smartest instinctual reaction was putting her hands out, hopefully she didn't get a neck injury, that was wild wipe out lol.

Omg! Seriously why can't you have just like picked something normal and safe.

Are you threatening me with a crash LOL!

Hahahaha! Absolutely awesome thank you!

Did you know that the first french fries weren’t cooked in France?
They were cooked in Greece.

The Benelli Grom-Killer looks like a sweet ride. It looks a lot like the Honda bikes of similar design I see in my neighborhood. How much did you pay?

Yeah the grom and the Kawasaki z125 are fun. But they are only 125cc engines.

This is 135cc.

And retail is usually $2800-3200.

I've got the title in hand for $1900. I'm tickled for sure. Guessing that I did really good. Especially since my hbd savings is exactly half that. And I didn't have to take it out at all!

USD 1900 is a reasonable price for a motorcycle of this type and category. As long as a person has cash flow, it's possible to save enough money in a short time to buy one. The fact that you left your HBD in savings untouched is bonus since you need that for the capital to accumulate via that 20% APR.

Congratulations! You're officially back on the road again!

Very nice bike man, super excited for you.

Ownership is always the way to go in my opinion, and I only feel that way because I had a car repossessed that I had paid half of the overpriced principle on.

Apparently he has a pregnant girlfriend and this was going to be her bike to learn how to ride on.

Sounds like the owner was pretty cool and responsible with his thinking regarding his pregnant gf and a likely need for some financial resources in preparation, and by the sounds of it he gave you a pretty good deal. It's always nice when a deal goes a way that makes both parties mutually happy.

Your dog is looking happy and relaxed too.
