Well the vehicle clean out ended up showing me that my glasses haven't been lost forever. Whew. What a blessing. I kept looking between the passenger seat and the console for these and I couldn't find them. Apparently they decided to rock their way all the way down that Gap and then slide underneath the passenger seat.
Whew. That's a huge blessing. That means I can see! And I don't have to spend $300 to replace these extremely valuable and important glasses. Absolutely a huge blessing.
Well today was frustrating. We have been chasing a way to fix the transportation issue. And I thought I had it solved. However unfortunately it didn't happen that way. For today.
Actually made a deal for a sweet little bike. And then I was hoping for the guy to contact me so we could sign the paperwork. However I didn't hear back.
That was super frustrating so, as I'm waiting to hear back from this guy, I end up getting a message back on another bike that I was interested in. And... We ended up making a deal.
So now I guess I'm just going to flake on the first guy since he hit me up after I made another deal.
This is definitely not going to be the best or most perfect bike. However it is going to get me back and forth and it is relatively low miles. And it's a 2022... So. That's a bonus. I'm excited about it.
I could have went with the other bike and it is pretty cool however I think I'm going to go for the newer one. There's always better resale value in Newer motorcycles.
I have a feeling that with this motorcycle I will be able to leverage it for something nicer.
So hopefully in the next few days it'll look like we will be able to get out and around.
I've got to clean out the SUV some more and we've got to get that set up to either be parted out or get sold to the scrap yard. Whatever is going to make me the most money off of it. Well realistically speaking since market is completely and totally swamped with mechanic specials nobody really wants to figure this out. And there's no way I'm going to be able to crack open the transmission and fix it.
So I'm just going to have to do the best I can. Which means me and puppy dog just went on crash diet. Yep. Only dog food this next month. No eating out. Saving money as much as I can.
However with this bike? Looking at 100 miles per gallon. Meaning I can go to the store a billion times on the same tank of gas. And most likely $5 is going to have a filled tank!
So I'm just going to balance out how all this works. It is definitely extremely exciting and we will see how things Orient themselves.
Sure would be nice if somebody bought my SUV for a thousand bucks. And that would mean that we would have some funds to go to the tow yards and buy the next vehicle there.
Best part about the motorcycle is the fact that I can trade it for something else. Better motorcycle, a vehicle, or something! Let alone the entire selling it....
So. We will see how things work out. But yeah I'm going to be excited to see this.
And as well get to go take it out!
