It is important to reflect on the course of the year so far and consider the achievements made, the obstacles overcome and the hopes for the rest of the year. The situation in the country has been complex and full of challenges, but there have also been advances and moments of hope.
I feel that my country is immersed in a deep economic and social crisis. Inflation is out of control, lack of water is a constant concern and power outages are increasingly frequent, causing damage to appliances such as refrigerators and other appliances.
In addition, in the labor field, delays in payments from customers to companies due to inflation have generated a great impact on the economy of these companies and on the quality of life of workers.
With considerable effort, many people have found new ways to generate income, and some have managed to establish community support networks to face the crisis together. These achievements are a testament to the resilience and determination of the Venezuelan people in the face of adversity.
I have been forced to deal with shortages of food, medicines and basic services. In the labor field, I have been affected by the collection of arrears from clients in the company, and the changes that have been made in the credit and collection policies. Uncertainty and instability are a constant in my daily life having to adapt to a difficult and challenging reality.
I have had to perform marketing tasks parallel to my activity as a Consultant-Auditor and Credit Analyst. I market quality cleaning products such as laundry soap, chlorine, disinfectants, dishwashers and bleach to individuals and companies. For this work I only charge commissions per sale. My salary, this extra money and my wife's income allow the family to meet their monthly obligations.
Venezuela has experienced a series of political, economic and social crises in recent years that have had a significant impact on the lives of its inhabitants. The situation has been especially difficult for those struggling to meet their basic needs and stay afloat in the midst of the crisis.
The shortage of food and medicine in some areas of the country, uncontrolled inflation and political instability continue to be important challenges that affect the population. Overcoming these obstacles has not been easy and requires a collective effort and political will to find long-term sustainable solutions.
The lack of resources and economic uncertainty have further complicated the situation. Corruption, government inefficiency and lack of transparency have contributed to the worsening of the situation, generating a climate of distrust and discontent in the population.
The country is at a crucial moment, as the presidential elections that will be held on July 28 of this year are approaching. This period has been marked by a series of challenges, which has generated a mix of feelings and expectations in the Venezuelan population.

To wash its face, the government has implemented late measures to fight corruption and improve its transparency, as well as announcements on investments in key infrastructures and in sectors such as education and health, all this due to the proximity of the presidential elections, being this the same demagogic political discourse as always where they do not talk about sensitive issues in which they have intervened and have not been effective such as inflation, food and medicine shortages. There is uncertainty and uneasiness in the population.
It is important to mention other influential figures that the government has tried to silence or put on its side in the political and social sphere, such as opposition leaders, activists and non-governmental organizations. Those who have managed to maintain their critical stance have played a crucial role in the defense of human rights and the promotion of democracy in the country. Their work has been fundamental in keeping hope alive for a better future for Venezuela.
As for the hopes for the rest of the year, it is important to maintain a positive attitude and continue working together to overcome the challenges we face. The authorities and society as a whole have to work as a team to find solutions to the problems that affect all Venezuelans and to lay the foundations for a more prosperous and just future for the country. As we approach the presidential elections, it is critical to maintain hope and confidence in a better future for Venezuela. It is important that citizens get involved in the electoral process and exercise their right to vote in a critical and responsible manner. This is the only way to build a more democratic and prosperous country for all.
As a Venezuelan, I have developed a great capacity for resistance and adaptation in the face of adversity, I have achieved joint solutions within my company to face the crisis and strengthen the work environment by seeking innovative initiatives. I have the will to improve myself and move forward.
I really hope that you have been able to overcome the difficulties during these first months of the year, and that your plans for these six months remaining until the end of the year are successful.
