Hello, game lovers? It's been 6 days since I've posted in this community because I've been busy with Power Up day and other community events. Thank you so much for the support on my previous post. I've been toying with the idea of turning this game into a Let's Play series, and with the feedback I've been getting, I've finalized it. I'm here with part 2 of the series, and I'll try to share an episode every few days from now on. Let's see how long our characters will survive.
Day 4
Last time I looted on night 3 and I told you about a great loot. Here is that perfect loot I made. As you can see, I found food, medicine, bandages, canned food and a broken helmet. If I have enough materials and I can upgrade the metal workshop, I can fix the helmet. This will be very useful for both attacking and defending.
While I was listening to the radio I heard a report that the resources in the city are very low and if it continues like this people will become aggressive and scour the city for useful things. It's too bad because we haven't fully fortified our bunker yet, I hope we won't get many attacks.
I have also started to build a trap, I wish I had the chance to hunt chickens, but in this case the rats are more likely to get caught in the trap and we have to make use of their meat. I don't know if I would do it myself, but in a real war people might have to.
Someone called Agata said that a shell had hit a building down the street and people were trapped under the rubble. He asked for our help to pull them out of the rubble. Of course I could not refuse.
When you make an important decision that affects your shelter, the characters in it react. For example, Roman was happy that we were helping people and thought we were doing the right thing, but they won't always think we are doing the right thing. You will see this in time.
On the evening of the 4th night I decided to go to the Bombed Brewery because there wasn't much left in the market that I wanted and as we go to new places, other places are unlocked and we can go there. It says there is danger there. So I have to be really careful, so I took a crowbar, and if I was going looting with someone other than Roman I would have taken a knife, but Roman can kill any enemy with one hit.
I saw two bandits beating a woman there. The poor woman had been caught trying to steal from them and they beat her to death. Unfortunately I couldn't save her because I didn't have a weapon with me and I couldn't fight alone against two people with only a crowbar. So I just waited...
I searched around a bit and tried to find something useful. I found a shotgun that had been broken with the food. I will definitely come back here again, not only for food, water and supplies. I will avenge that innocent woman!
Day 5
Bruno thinks we were right not to help her last night. If we had helped her, Roman would have been hurt too and I agree with him. By the way, Arica arrived after helping our neighbors.
Bingo! We found our first meat in the trap. I hope we can keep this luck going because right now we have no other source of food.
Today on the radio they said that many stray animals have disappeared and they advised us to be careful when buying meat. Luckily we are already eating something that looks like stray animals lol.
My barter buddy came again and that always makes me happy :P I made a lot of great trades with him and I got things I needed like materials, parts for weapons, etc. In return I gave him things like alcohol and diamonds and some extra stuff I had. It was profitable for both of us.
With the materials I traded, I developed my metal workshop because that's what I needed the most. I need to start repairing weapons as soon as possible. There is revenge to be taken and I must protect my sanctuary.
I immediately repaired the helmet and the shotgun, the reasons for which I have already given above.
I decided to go to the brewery again because I need some ammunition. I can't kill two people with just two bullets.
Unfortunately those bastards were waiting for me there and as soon as I got inside they tried to attack me. When one of them shouted shoot him I thought they had a gun and I had to run away. So on the 5th night I couldn't loot anything.
Day 6
On the 6th day we woke up to bad news: they attacked our shelter. Fortunately, they couldn't hurt us much and they couldn't steal anything, but we have to be more careful next time, otherwise some of us might get hurt and we might lose a lot of stuff.
As the days go by, we learn more about the characters' backgrounds and what they were doing before the war. He came to the city of Pogoren for a quiet time after his military service, but as you can see, the quiet didn't last long. I can't wait to see more of his story.
And on the sixth day nothing else happened. All day long I waited like this for someone to come or for something to happen, but no. It was a quiet day. There was nothing new on the radio.
At night I decided to go to school to loot with Arica unlike usual because I need ammunition and different things before I go to the brewery.
There I found a sad letter, a boy wrote to his mother, he wrote that a girl was killed by a sniper, but she didn't do anything to the sniper and she was a very sweet girl. He said he wanted to see his parents as soon as possible. This letter doesn't seem to have reached its destination, but I hope at least the child reached his parents...
The school is really huge so the first night there was mostly exploration. But I'm sure I'll find many more wonderful things here the next night. Especially a lot of wood that I couldn't take with me. I'm sure I'll need them at some point.
Let's end the second part here. It was full of excitement, but it was also sad. We witnessed the death of a woman who was a thief but ultimately did it out of desperation. I'm looking forward to seeing what we will see in the next chapter. Thank you very much for reading. I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to share your thoughts about the episode and the game in the comments. Take care and have a great day!
