First Time Playing Old School RuneScape

in #hive-14021724 days ago

Hello Hive Gaming Community,

I am @princekeys, and this is my first time posting in this amazing community.I am going to be sharing with y'all about my first time playing the *Old School RuneScape game on my Android phone (Google Pixel 3a).

When I installed the game from Google Playstore, I had to set some things up. So, I first of all launched the game using my normal phone game launcher

The launching process took about five minutes to load, as it was still downloading some extra features, as seen in the screenshots above.

After the game finished loading, I had to connect to the game server with my Gmail account which took about one minute to complete

I kinda ran into about 3-4 failures before it went successfully

After that, I had to setup a username for my player of which I used princekeys

Then the game had to check if my username was available. That is, it hasn't been used by any other person playing the game

After checking that, I had to set up my player which was really boring for me to do on a mobile device 😅

For the fact that it was really boring to do, I didn't really bother taking my time to set the player up. I just did a few changes.

After setting the player up, the game officially started. Even though it was still in tutorial mode.

The game started by me talking with a character in the game, who welcomed me to the game and directed me to another character

When I got there I met a lady who directed me on how to play the game, and gave me an exercise to see if I understood what she explained.

The exercise she gave was that, I should catch some fish so, she gave me a net and I started fishing with it

When I finished fishing, she gave me an axe 🪓 to cut down some trees, so that I can use to cook the fish.
So I started cutting the tree down

After cutting down the trees, she gave me an ignition box and told me to make the fire, and I did

When the fire started burning, she told me to roast the fish, and I did.

After it was ready, we ate and she directed me to another character, who turned out to be the main cook of the place.

When I got there, he told me that he will teach me how to cook. When he said that, I told him that no it's okay I can cook very well, I'm just from roasting some fish. When he heard, he laughed at me and said that is not real food.

And that is how I ended the game for today. Hopefully, I'm going to continue tomorrow.

Thank you all so much for taking your precious time to view my post. Hope I'm welcome here 😊 🙏

PEACE 🕊️

Hello, @princekeys, do you know any @nickzy?

Yes I do

How exactly? Partner in Crime...eh?

He's my elder brother

How can you say partner in crime. Such words are really heart breaking to someone like me. I joined Hive some years ago, and I didn't really get in good terms with the platform because I did some stuff that were not right, and I'm really sorry for that. So after I received some rejection, I left Hive for some time, and studied more about it before I came back again and started posting again (just a month and some few weeks ago). Nickzy is my elder brother and we live in the same home. I saw a post on Hive game yesterday, and I really liked it. I even commented on the post, you can track my comments and check. That's when I started telling my brother about the Hive gaming community and he was like wow he's gonna give it a shot today. When all of us woke up this morning, that was what was on our agenda today. So when he started writing, I too started writing.
I'm really sorry for any wrong thing I may have caused, and I sincerely apologize to you and to the community 🙏

You don't have to apologize to me. I am just trying to ask some question and get to the truth. I have seen a lot of scammers with somewhat similar pattern and hence the question.

I talked to Nickzy as well. Now let me give you some suggestion if you want to improve on Hive.

  • Try to engage with posts that you like or have similar interests as you are writing. Just writing a post won't be sufficient (applicable to most communities on Hive and more so in Hive gaming)

  • A good gaming post is one where you share your original thoughts about the game, what was your unique experience. Simply telling what happend in your game might not be as interesting for readers. (Anyone can watch gameplay of that game but they can't go and read someones mind or how the game impacted you, what you felt like, what was your personal experience...etc as everyone has different and that's what makes your gaming post worth reading)

  • Any asset (graphic, quotes, page dividers etc) should be properly sourced.

  • Try to PowerUp and increasing your accounts HP. This will improve your voting value, which will help others as well as you.

  • Don't use AI generators to make your posts (not saying you are using them).

And last of all, be creative and unique!

Have a great day!

Thank you very much @pravesh0 🙏

I am very happy for the guide you have given me and thank you for also correcting what you saw wrong in my post. I will make sure to implement all you have told me, and I look forward to posting again in this amazing community with 100% original content.
Thank you once again 🙏

You TOO!! Please immediately delete my page deviders from even on your account!

@princekeys
Stop using someone else asset without their explicit permissions.

Ohh okay I understand now and I'm very sorry for that. Let me delete it immediately

Please what do you mean by that?

How would you dare you to use someonelse's work without permission? I meant this. And even not being sorry? How arrogant of you.

I've been using it like that from others posts but no one has ever complained so I didn't think it was a problem until now 🙏

I am very very sorry ma'am. The thing is I didn't really understand what you meant. I misunderstood you and I'm really really sorry. I know about plagiarism, spamming and all the likes, but I didn't know using separators from another's post is an issue. I'm very very sorry 🙏🙏🙏

As soon as I understood, I went on and removed them. Please forgive me 🙏
