After a busy work week and missing getting this newsletter out on Wednesday, I'm slightly envious of @generikat getting immersed in homestead life. This was a nostalgic read with beautiful summer photos, which lifted me up as I temporarily hid from a winter shower here in Australia.
I'm not particularly keen on the idea of buying fertiliser for plants, as I try to keep costs down in the garden as much as possible and to work as much with nature as possible. That said, it's not easy to keep plants well nourished in extreme climates or if they are kept in pots. So I'm always interested when I see something on home made fertilisers, like @ciadanmea's DIY organic liquid fertiliser.
There must be some great fertile soil where @bigorna1 is, because the production of his plants is awesome! This June update showcases lots of wonderful growth and produce and has links to lots of his previous posts on how he got to that point.
Let's finish up by taking a stroll through @offbeatbroad's beautifully evolving garden. They are growing food for the eyes and the belly here and have you ever seen a strawberry plant with red flowers before?!
Thank you for joining me. This week beneficiaries go to @bigorna1 and @generikat
